When I placed my last Sephora order, I decided to treat myself and buy a couple of new shower gels, including The Gingerbread Man. With the Christmas season approaching, I thought it would be fun to use a gingerbread-scented bath product. Unfortunately, I didn't really get what I was expecting.

I don't know how expensive this product is, as I recieved it as a gift, but I must say I am not overjoyed with Philosophy's Gingerbread Man shower gel. Typically, I'm a bar soap kind of girl, but I don't mind shower gel as something different. The gel itself is fine, it lathers up nicely. It's the scent I wasn't too sure of. I kind of smell some ginger in it, but up close, on your body and hands and just out of the bottle, it smells more chemical. I think they are really off target to name it 'Gingerbrerad Man'.
