Quick View: A superior cleanser with no frills that works wonders. — About Philosophy Purity Made Simple — This cleanser is perhaps the simplest cleanser I have used. It is eggnog color and pearly. Again I have to say I love the Philosophy Brand. I am also willing to admit not all their products are outstanding and perfect in every way. However, I think Purity Made Simple, is truly the very best facial cleanser ever created. — The scent makes me think fresh and natural. It is not chemical or fruit or flower scented. I'm always on the hunt for a good facial cleanser for my sensitive and oily skin. I have been a fan of Philosophy products for several years now. I first fell in love with their shower gels, which are amazing, and I have never had a bad reaction to any of the ingredients. I have super sensitive skin and break out in hives and dry patches easily. I especially like this cleanser in the evening since the scent induces an immediate relaxing affect on me. When I first used it I thought the scent was different, and I didn't really find it all that appealing. However, I did not find it objectionable either. After using several times I noticed a relaxing feeling after inhaling deeply. I now look forward to the "odd scent" that releases tension in my body. This is the BEST product out there that not only cleans your face very well, it removes make-up too! And, still has the skin softening results you want. It is a clean frangrance, and very smooth to the touch and gentle to the eyes. It has helped ease my acne (even though it is not meant for that) and it eliminated the rubbing of your eyes with another burning make up remover. This is my favorite facial cleanser I've tried. I don't use a makeup remover when I cleanse with this. I can even you it to take off my eyemakeup and it doesn't burn my eyes. I like the scent of it--it is herbal and natural, not a fake smell. I bought a huge 32 fl. oz bottle from the Nordstrom Anniversery sale a year ago and it has lasted me over a year. This is sincerely the best cleanser you will ever use. I was not a beliver until I tried it. I had never heard of philosophy until I saw it on QVC serveral years ago. This cleanser was the first of MANY philosophy products I have tried but is a staple. It makes my skin feel clean without feeling scrubbed. Your skin will feel so soft. I started using this facewash before my wedding, to get picture perfect, and have been using it now for over three years. It cleared my skin up, leaves it soft, and is one of the only face washes I have ever used where there is not make up on the towel when i dry my face afterwards. This is the best facial cleanser I have ever used. It is rich and mositurizing without leaving my skin feeling greasy. purity made simple works in dissolving dirt and makeup. it' doesn't foam. you're emulsifying away the day....not foaming it away remember that. It smells like roses, but not grandma style roses. This is a great product because it really gets your skin clean - no residue left over and it doesn't have an obnoxious smell. It doesn't dry out my skin either. I got the Purity Made Simple in a philosphy gift set. I was unimpressed with the other items, but lo when I tried this, it simply changed my skin care routine.
