Finding a good facial cleanser has always been a chore for me. Because I suffer from dry/combination skin, most facial cleansers seem to leave my skin feeling tight and even more dry than before I washed. Plus, my skin can be very sensitive to certain products, so I have to be careful about what I choose to use on my face. That's why I was so excited to try Philosophy Purity Made Simple One Step Facial Cleanser.
I'm a huge fan of Philosophy products and despite the fact that they can be very pricey, their quality is usually worth the added cost. I had high hopes for this cleanser and let me tell you, I was not disappointed!
This gentle cleanser works exceptionally well to remove makeup, dirt and oil. It even got rid of my stubborn eye makeup; I normally have to use a separate product for that! It doesn't really lather, which I found odd, but that doesn't diminish the fact that it rinses off cleanly without leaving a greasy film behind. Plus, my skin doesn't feel tight and dry after washing, which is a definite plus.
I am very happy with this cleanser and have switched out my old face wash with Philosophy Purity Made Simple. As of this writing, I have yet to find a better cleanser than this!
