I love philosophy purity. I have been using it for about seven years. I have very sensitive skin especially around my eyes. Sometimes even getting water in them makes them sting. I say this on qvc and bought it hoping that I could use it to take off my makeup and hopefully it wouldn't hurt my skin too much. I can use this to remove eye makeup and it doesn't sting at all , it even takes off waterproof mascara which not even a lot of removes meant for the eye area can do. I put it on a q-tip and use it to remove makeup around and on eyes that way it doesn't drip and get into my eyes. It doesn't smell like medicine or perfume and it doesn't strip my skin. I also like that it doesn't break out my skin either and the pop top bottle makes it wonderful for travel. I can't live without this stuff
