My lips are oh so dry pretty much year round. Even more so in the winter, the medicines I am taking plus the cold wind outside really do a number on my lips. I have tried everything under the sun. Sure they feel nice as soon as I put a balm on, or anything else. But then they are back to being flaky, not me just my lips.
One day as I was walking through Macy's I asked at different counters if they had anything to help my oh so dry lips. One saleslady said philosophy had an exfoliating lip scrub. I figured what do I have to lose to check it out. I went over to the counter and inquired. Since it wasn't overly priced and I was tired of my lips getting like this, and feeling yucky, I decided to try a tube.
The philosophy saleslady explained how it works, and that it should help me. When you put it on you can feel the granulars, and you rub your lips together, wipe it off and apply what ever you choose to put on. I was very impressed with the product. It gets those pieces of skin you just want to tear off, this gently rubs them away. Then I use a balm, gloss or lipstick. I feel like I have my lips back instead of looking weird, wanting to pull the skin off. Sometimes they would want to bleed, this is far more gentle on the lips. Been using it for a year and a half now. Here and there, but with the cold weather I already started using it again daily.
Pros:
My lips feel baby soft, baby smooth, baby pink since I have been using the philosophy kiss me! Price is around $12.00, which to me is well worth not having my lips look flaky and dry. Smoother, softer, and kissable!
