My skin is so dry that it will flake in certain areas on face so one cannot ignore these symptoms. Without a doubt Philosophy products are more expensive but you just need a dab to apply to face so it winds up being more economical as this 60 ml/2 fl oz jar will last me for a long, long time. It serves as both day and night treatment. It feels cooling when applied. On front of jar it states "super soothing moisturizer for redness and sensitivity".
