I love and adore Philosophy. I look for products that actually do what they claim to do, as well as look for products that..wait for it...have a good 'Philosophy' about themselves and what they are selling. I don't feel the need to get the $200 caviar face cream because A-list celebrity #1 has been seen buying it. I want something that works for me. I've been using Philosophy products way back in the day before O got her hands on it. I find I am using it more diligently as I now am older, wiser and have more of a need for it.
Hope in a Jar moisturizer is truly Hope...that is in a jar. It is a light but effective moisturizer. I guess I haven't used or feel I need to use a super thick, heavy moisturizer. I like that it absorbs quickly, doesn't cause skin flare-ups or make me feel like I have an oil slick on my face. If you ever have used Origins skin care, the scent reminds me of that for some reason. I feel like I am doing something proactive with my skin by using this product and hopefully counteracting some of the sun damage I get in the summer.
Again I feel because you need so little of the product that it goes a long way, so in my mind I think the cost is reasonable for the amount you get because it lasts a long time.
