I've been trying to save money lately and, as such, haven't been splurging on the bath and beauty products that I love to buy. I recently ran out of skin care staples which meant putting in an order at Sephora... and while I was doing my shopping I decided to throw in a few little extra treats for myself, including philosophy gratitude pomegranate lip gelato.
I've used philosophy's lip shines in the past, and while I liked them, I found them to be way too high-gloss and sticky to be a practical product for me to wear at work. I decided to check out their Lip Gelatos, though, because they were described as "lightweight" and "non-sticky" gloss that would hydrate and plump lips.
This Gratitude Pomegranate Lip Gelato is a translucent deep pink in color and has a fruity scent, though I wouldn't have guessed it was pomegranate if the label didn't say so. It is easy to apply and spread across mouth, leaving it feeling soothed, hydrated, and with a nice layer of non-sticky gloss. I've tried this stuff out during a busy day of teaching and was happy to discover that I didn't have to reapply until after a full 40 minutes of non-stop speaking. That is a HUGE plus for this product in my book.
At about $9 per 0.5 ounce tube and available only at Sephora, philosophy gratitude pomegranate lip gelato is neither cheap nor easy to find. Still, I'm willing to put forth some extra effort in order to obtain it because it is a great, hydrating, long-lasting, and non-sticky gloss. Recommended!
