Philosophy Amazing Grace Fragrance Spray Review

As I mentioned in my other Philosophy fragrance reviews, I am a lover of Philosophy scents and a lover of fragrance in general. How I smell tells people who I am and how I feel. I have dozens of scents and I choose the one I want to wear carefully to convey my mood.

Philosophy Amazing Grace Spray Fragrance 2 oz is my absolute favorite of all the Philosophy scents. When I wear it, it's like I slipped into my best silk teddy and strappy open toed high heels. I feel sexy and oh so feminine.

The Product

Philosophy Amazing Grace Spray Fragrance 2 oz comes in a pink box and the bottle is simple and clear glass. It has a spray top.The spray is light, fresh, and oh so feminine. Although it is feminine, it doesn't overwhelm the senses with florals and other typically feminine scents. It is the freshest, most seductive fragrance in the Philosophy line and one of my all time favorites.

The ingredients tell us nothing: SD Alcohol 40B, Fragrance, Glycerin, Benzophenone 3. But you can expect to smell a very light scent of clean, off the line clothing, maybe a hint of floral but tempered by a freshness that simply smells amazing - and not soapy like Pure Grace.

However, as with all Philosophy fragrances, the scent is short lived on my skin. This one lasts longer then the others but I have the solid perfume, shower gel, lotion and everything else to layer this scent. Even with all that, this doesn't ever overwhelm the senses or come off too strong.

My Use

I knew immediately that Amazing Grace was going to be my favorite when I tried a trios of Graces from Philosophy. Baby Grace was nice but too much like baby powder which I don't like. Pure Grace (see review) was great but just a touch too sweet and soapy for anything but casual use. And then there was Amazing Grace. One whiff and I was hooked. Because it is so light, it's hard to grow sick of this scent.

My husband finds the scent very appealing (and he doesn't like perfumes very much usually) and I feel very regal and feminine, yet still casual and easy going when I wear it.

It's truly a fine choice for women who want to smell fresh and feminine but don't like heavy, daunting floral scents.

I suggest you buy some layering products to lengthen the time the scent lingers and then slip into your most feminine self - even if you're just wearing jeans and a T.

Conclusion

My favorite of the Philosophy fragrances, Philosophy Amazing Grace Spray Fragrance 2 oz is just that. Amazing. I like that it is light and feminine without in your face florals like heavy perfumes. I wear this scent any time but enjoy wearing it when I want to feel feminine and sexy. I have been complimented many times when wearing it and, because it is so light, people actually lean in to take a whiff trying to figure out where that great scent is coming from

It doesn't last long on my skin but the solid and the layering products help greatly.

I have to go with 5 stars. It's a must have in my vast fragrance collection.
