Normally, I prefer floral scents for shower gels. But I have to say that I'm really loving the scent of Amazing grace. It just smells really simple and clean, and could probably be used by men as well (but definitely doesn't smell manly, so don't worry if you're female!) I haven't really used it for my hair because my hair needs a lot of moisture and I'm afraid to use anything but what I currently use. However, as a shower gel, this is really great! It feels nice going on and doesn't have too much lather, which I actually like. The product is a bit expensive and definitely a spurge for me. But I think it's really great and I don't mind buying it. It might be something you could ask for if you have a birthday (or other gift-receiving occasion) coming up! I love love love all Philosophy products and this 3-in-1 absolutely is no exception. Compared to other body washes, my skin feels much softer and holds the scent better. And can we talk about the luscious scents? A perfect choice to pamper myself or give as a gift! Effectiveness Super effective in cleansing, pampering, and relaxing! I have nothing negative to say about the effectiveness of this product. I only wish it was slightly cheaper to buy. Scent This particular scent is really decadent, but I love all of Philosophy's scents. So quirky yet universally appealing - great job Philosophy!

This shower gel is somewhat of a splurge for me, but worth every penny! It leaves a subtle scent and does not overpower which is very important to me. If you are looking for more scent the moisturizer adds another layer of fragrance. I also like how the shower gel suds up and leaves my skin moisturized and soft. I haven't tried it as shampoo but they do say it can be used as that as well. I would be afraid a scented shower gel would dry out my hair. I'm also not sure this would be good on color treat hair. I'd be interested in reading what others say about that.  I would recommend not only this particular scent, but I think everything the Philosophy brand makes is high quality and worth the money. I try to catch Amazing Grace on sale at Philosophy's website. You can score 30% off during the friends and family sale. They often have other great promotions and freebies which make the price justifiable to me.

I need to feel touched by Amazing Grace often. I lost the bottle once because I had to take it on a camping trip and I felt blessed by God when it was found and returned to me. I love it so much that I bathed my cats with it just to see if they could get even softer hair and so that I could enjoy the scent for days. They did and I did.  This is the perfect gift even if it is a gift to yourself.   Effectiveness It is very effective Scent I usually go with unscented but I love and love and love this scent. It does not seem to bother my allergy's so I am thrilled to be able to use it on special occasions only because it is pricey

I have tried Philosophy's Amazing Grace, and frankly, I am not impressed. I was excited to get this, since I have seen so many ads and commercials over the years describing how natural and simple it is and how beautiful it would make me feel. Unfortunately, this product really let me down. Not only was it super expensive, even when buying on sale/promo, it really didn't get the job done or feel any different than my usual drug store shampoo. This is three-products-in-one, which seems very convenient (though now that I think about it, I'm not sure why!) --- but in the end, this is a let down. It is good as a shower gel, but the shampoo aspect is anything but. Anyway, I would not recommend this. I have tried many philosophy products in the past, and very sadly, am usually disappointed. I have found that products described as having more than 1 use are usually good at 1 of the jobs to be done, but not all.

Yummy!! this stuff is amazing!! its a milk based soap so its creamy and forms a thick comforting lather. It can also be used as bubble bath or shampoo ( works great on my hair! ) It smells soft and feminine. Not too overpowering or floral. The scent is very calming. I love to take a bath with it after a long day. It melts away stress! great aromatherapy. It comes in a large sixteen ounce bottle. Plenty of soap because you dont need much! the bottle also has a really nice message about "grace" on the bottle. I love philosiphy products ! It gets me really clean and it leaves its amazing scent behind. the one downside of this product is that I notice it really dries out my skin in my chest area. other than that it leaves my skin soft and fresh. I think this would make a great gift for a close girl friend or a mother or grandmother. the scent is flattering for any woman of any age. I would reccomend this to all women!!!!

Philosophy Amazing Grace Bath, Shampoo, and Shower Gel is simply amazing. It's a product that really does live up to its name. It is amazing. Oh, have I said that before? I have? Let me say it again: it is amazing. I am not kidding or writing words here. It works as a shampoo or a shower body wash, or maybe a bath gel. It lathers quickly and easily and rinses easily. When using as a shampoo, it leaves one's hair feeling really clean and looking shiney and natural. There are no frizz or tangles either. When using as a bath body wash or gel, it leaves your skin feeling soft, clean, and looking great. I no longer have to buy a separate product for each of these tasks because this does it all. Now it's not cheap, but because it replaces other products, one can justify it. Get this. I had it to come up missing when we threw a holiday party at our house for the weekend for 75 guests, most of whom slept over. We were renting our summer home again, which has four floors, just for this. We stay in that for 6 months of the year. After the party, it was gone. LOL. That was from our private bathroom, which no one had access to. But apparently someone else did. LOL

I first smelled this fragrance in a store but not as a product for sale, it was a woman walking by. The fragrance made me feel happy. I use the bath gel now to make the scent of the fragrance last longer. Add a capful in with your lingerie and that also lengthens the scent...yum!

Amazing Grace is a wonderfully, delicious smell, a bit floral and fruity to me.  It has a strong scent in the bottle but that's as far as it goes unfortunately for the most part.  I used this primarily as a shampoo and I was very underwhelmed.  Using it as a shampoo, it was hard to get the gel to lather well, I used quite a good amount (several squirts) of the shampoo just to get a decent lather in my hair.  Even so, after rinsing my hair there wasn't much scent at all left in my hair and especially once it was dry.  Now Amazing Grace used as a body wash, while not being perfect, it is much more effective and the scent lasts much longer than if used as a shampoo.  The best part of the gel is the scent, unfortunately it's not as strong as I would have liked or expected from Philosophy.  I was very excited to use this product but was surprisingly underwhelmed by it.

I love taking baths when I have the time and of course all girls have to have a nice bath gel to use so that bath time is even more relaxing. I have been a Philosophy lover for a few years now and have never been nothing less than satisfied with the products that offer, especially the shower gels. I for one love that they are versatile and can be used as shampoo as well though I rarely use these gels for that purpose. I already owned the Amazing Grace perfume and I love how light and fresh it is so I figured that the gel would be just the same and I was right! Philosophy Amazing Grace Bath, Shampoo & Shower Gel smells amazing and the smell lasts well after I take my bath. This stuff is a saving grace after a long day when I just want to relax and enjoy some peace and quiet for a little while. After I use Philosophy Amazing Grace Bath, Shampoo & Shower Gel I usually follow up with the lotion and I'm set! The scent is great; nothing overpowering but it definitely lasts. Worth the money and a little does go a long way! This stuff usually lasts me months.
