Philips Sonicare Electric Toothbrush —

My husband bought this toothbrush for me on the advice I received from my dentist. I have been using it for 5 months now. I have very sensitive gums, so at first it took some getting used to. I appreciate the fact that it does do a much better job of cleaning your teeth than a regular toothbrush does. I also love that it has a self-timer that the entire tootbrush goes off after 2 minutes to let you know that you have brushed long enough so as not to brush too long. That was something I was doing before that had done some damage to the enamel on my teeth. I would recommend this toothbrush to anyone who wanted a more at home professional cleaning for their teeth. I don't know if I would reccommend it for children, as it is a bit powerful. I sometimes put it away for a period of time, and opt for my regular toothbrush to give my gums a bit of a rest. However, I will reccommend purchasing a larger head brush for it, because it does come with a tiny one, but it works just fine.

Great review! My dentist whose name by the way is Dr. Pitts also recommends this toothbrush. He says electric ones stimulate the gums. I have senstive teeth and found that the toothpastes for sensitive teeth really do help. ~Gigi ♫
