Great product, no regrets

5

The Phillips Norelco All in 1 7 Piece Grooming Kit was my introduction to products of this sort and I venture to say that it is probably all that I will ever need. It does a fantastic job and I have yet to use all of the attachments. When I bought it I was looking for a beard, nose and hair trimmer. Among the other kits on the shelf it looked like the best product at the most affordable price and it has not been a disappointment. I usually have use for only the hair and nose trimmer and keep the rest of the attachments aside for future exigencies. The base works for days at a time and is easily recharged with an outlet cord. It's also a complement to bathroom accessories with it's sleek styling and the quickly interchangeable 7 pieces that are almost blindly snapped into place. The Phillips Norelco All in 1 7 Piece Grooming Kit goes a long way toward enhancing my appearance and is a product that I would recommend for all ages including those just starting out.

Great for trimming hair or scalping!

Since I was developing a bald spot, I decided to shave it all off. With a straight razor, I would almost always nick myself. I purchased this item and find it works great for keeping my shaving appearance up without personal injury. I use it every day and finish up with my Norelco triple head razor for an even closer clearner look. If you're not interested in going to the extreme of bald as I have, this kit has the tools necessary to do a great job on both head hair, mustache and beard

This Philips Norelco Grooming Kit is not very high-quality.

I have a husband and two sons, so I thought a grooming kit would come in handy. My husband shaves his head, so I thought he might find it useful, plus, I thought I might be able to start cutting my kid's hair instead of going to a barber. This kit comes with: Mini shaver, hair clipper, beard & moustache trimmer, nose trimmer, detailing trimmer, full-size trimmer and a storage pouch (not the tray shown above). Unfortunately, this **Philips Norelco All in 1 7-Piece Grooming Kit** doesn't really live up to my expectations. First of all, the handheld shaver is very lightweight and feels really cheap. The attachments are plentiful since this kit came with seven of them, but they are awkward to attach and feel like they might break when you try to take them off. Another thing I don't care for is that the length of the shaver is pretty short, so it takes a lot of time to go over an area. Overall, this is a low-quality product. Even with all the attachments, we don't get much use out of it because I simply don't like to use it. I would recommend you buy a more expensive one since this set was pretty cheap and feels cheap too.

A very good and durable set

Its a very smooth device and I like the size, its pretty much a travel set on steroids, the nose trimmer is also very nice too! I usually carry it with me when ever I travel, it can't be charged and used at the same time which is unfortunate but on the plus side atlest that means you can't get shocked from it easily or something if the cable is near water. The trimmer has I believe 10-12 different speeds, so it works for alot of different kinds of thick facial hair, which is great when you have facial hair that grows back really fast and you like to keep the "five o' clock stuble" look. And it comes with a small brush you can use the clean the blades and other attachments which is really handy when you make a mess, which you will oddly because the hairs do kinda get all over this thing while shaving. It is kinda delicate so I'd take care, the tray anyways, its made form a very light plastic.

Great Grooming System

I bought this product for my husband and I started using it for myself.  It has many attachments.  My husband uses it to trim his beard before shaving and I use the nose hair attachment.  The only downside is that it is hard to store and the attachments always fall all over the place.  Otherwise, this is a great product and gets the job done.

Perfect shaver!

The Phillips Norelco G370 Grooming System is the latest "shaving kit" I have purchased and tried. Maybe it is just me, but I don't feel like paying large amounts of money for the expensive brands of electric groomers, and have been looking for the perfect less expensive units. I won't say cheaper because with the Phillips Norelco G370 Grooming System I think I have finally founf the perfect balance between price and quality. The main unit that houses the motor actually feels solid and not like a cheap plastic toy that some trimmers seem to feel like. The power button slides smoothly enough on and off, and the unit fits snugly into the base. Speaking of the base, that would be the only drawback I have with using this product. It is still the cheap plastic base so many models use. Would it kill a company to put a weighted base in that won't get knocked over so easy? Overall, I definately reccomend this unit to anyone on a budget but who still wants a great product.

A money saver :)

I bought this recently for my spouse and I used it to trim/ cut his hair. I was kind of nervous but it is very easy to use. Specially with the 9 length setting these is very lesss cope of things going wrong :). My spouse says that the nose trimmer does work very well as it doesnot take out all the hair her wants. But personally I want the round blade less scary than the claw blade in other trimmers , especially for the nose area. It is a very good value for money as it will pay for itself in two haircuts. I wonder why people don't use it instead of visiting the hair salon, unless they want some dyeing/color of othgere stuff done to their hair than a simpole hair cut. One thing that can be improve is the trimeer balde which I use to clean the neck hair area for my spouse. It is not that powerful and took me longer to clean that area like I wanted. Also that shaver can be used only for light bread shaving a s my spouse says and not for a two days bread growth.

Philips Norelco G370 is a gem, but a nose hair nightmare!

4

The Philips Norelco G370 Grooming System has been a gem for me, and has come quite in handy. This is a beard, mustache, hair, and nose hair trimmer all in one. For a man like me, who likes to change things up a bit from time to time and spice up life when the duldrums get you down, this product is just what I need. I have never purposefully let my beard grow out unkempt before, but prefer to nicely style the full-on facial fuzz. This is where this puppy's par excellance shines through. This system has SIX different attachments to groom everything from the bulbous face and nappy beard to the petite tete and sparsely populated chin. First, there are two sizes of normal razor attachments, depending on the size of the job. The larger of the two has a shave guard with nine different length settings to match to your beard. There is also a large plastic guard, with the same length settings, that is perfect for trimming a manly do. Choose your setting - for different lengths on different sides of the head, switch it up - and go to town! These four attachments are killer, in my opinion! I use them at least once a week, sometimes more if I've decided to let my other hair grow out. And, let's be honest, this shaver will also work great if you need to shave the hair of more, well... sensitive areas. The guard offers the protection you need and the shaver itself gives the quality you deserve. And the unit is cheap enough to buy two so you're not using the same one for all your shaving needs. Black's a great color as well - come on, what guy do you know who would willingly purchase a yellow, red, or some other borderline feminine color shaver, even if it was the Superman of personal groomers (the guys at the lodge would never let you live it down) - so no worries there. The only problems I found with this groomer were the "wire-covered close shaver" and the "nose hair trimmer" attachments. Sorry, but these are crap. No one wants to feel like they're only a moment from impending nicks and cuts with nothing but wishful thinking and dumb luck to protect them. After only a moment of trying both, I retired these two attachments. I'm sorry, but if you have to give it time to get it to work for you, it's not for me. I'm not going to coddle my inanimate shaver like a child that needs love and affection. It's not like I'll be woken up in the middle of the night by strange electric sniffles coming from the bathroom and walk in to find my two attachments consoling each other in the light of the mirror: "Well, what else could you do, Nosey? You cut that mean ol' man's nose hairs with the best of'em, he's just too sensitive!" "Sensitive, my butt, you piece of crap plastic!" I'd yell in response as I crush it on the floor with the toilet plunger, the close shaver looking on in horror from it's cowered position behind my wife's potpourri. I don't swing that way, enduring the stupidity till it doesn't seem so stupid. My ability to decipher the pee-taste of beer and set that against my friend's comments of "it's an acquired taste" sets me apart. I don't resist my natural aversions to things until they don't seem so bad, and I won't do it with these two attachments either. Given the price, trashing the two crap-attachments isn't a big deal to me. Truth be told, Norelco probably knowingly settled on the lower quality for these two attachments because the main focus was the beard and mustache trimmer functions - which they excelled in creating. And that's what men like me purchased them for, and I continue to use them. The Philips Norelco G370 Grooming System is a great buy, you'll get a lot of use out of it, and you can't beat a charging system that avoids more costly battery purchases. But that's just my opinion...

The Norelco g370 grooming system is not what I expected

2

This was a waste of my money, First you can only use it with batteries so it has to be charged at all times. Next the system looks and feels cheap and if you are not extremely careful the attachment to change the adjustable head as it will break. I can't get the closest of shaves as I have to use a razor after i use the trimmer. I do not recommend this product as it looks and feels really cheap.

Philips Norelco is pretty good!!!

We got this product on sale, thinking we'd use it just to trim nose hair and maybe occasionally something else like small hairs.  Instead, this product is amazing, and EXTREMELY easy to use.  I often trim hair with it and use it daily!  Something I never thought I'd bother as it seems like a pain.  Plus, it's pretty safe so you don't get cut. Changing the heads is super easy!  The battery used to last a long time, but now that is over 2 years long - it doesn't last as long.  Before we charged it once a month, and now it's four times a month, which is still pretty good.  One of the down side is that you can't charge and use the product at the same time - which really sucks.  Most other shaving products you can use at the same time, but not this one. Overall: pretty good product considering it's ease of use and price.  Also, it does last a long time (mine is two to three years old, and use it just about every day).
