This is a great little DVD player. It is not extremely flashy, there are no blinking lights or LEDs shining all over the place. This is a sleek silver and black DVD player that looks nice and inconspicuous with your system.
What really shines about this player is the number of formats it supports. This does not only play DVDs, it will play just about anything you can record onto a DVD disc: avi, mp3, divx, wav, MPEG4, etc. I have not yet found something it will not support, but I am sure one or two formats exist.
Playback is smooth and I have had no problems with the unit. If you pause for an extended period of time, you have to hit play a couple times to get it to start again. I am not sure why, but it is the only glitch I have noticed.
