Philips - DVD Recorder DMR-EZ17 —
I got this for my husband as a birthday gift and it lasted less then 6 months before it stoped recording the dvd's. when I called the company they tried to say that the warrenty had run out on it even though I had regesterd it with them and all. I had to go back and find the reciept where I bought it and fax it to them and waited for three weeks for them to get back in contact with me and they never did. So I called them again and they said they hadn't recieved anything from me so I had to re-fax everything to them. I waited an hour and call back and was still told the warrinty was no good. after about 3 hours on the phone with then they are sending me a new one that I intend to give to a friend. I bought a different brand for myself and don't want to have to deal with them the next tim it goes down.
