Enhances movie quality on HD tv set but doesn't play HD DVDs

We just purchased this HDMI DVD player without knowing what is needed to play HD DVDs. HDMI players do NOT play HD DVDs (that's what we get for not researching). That being said, it was fairly inexplensive (retail ~$75, paid ~$55) and it does enhance the video quality of regular DVDs on our HD TV. The HDMI cable is not included-I think it is a separate purchase for all HDMI players and not all HD TVs have the needed connection so research before you buy. My TV doesn't have the HDMI connection but the quality of standard DVDs was still enhanced. We are satisified with the purchase but... read full review »

I have purchased this DVD player recently. Its amazing. It works for me any thing. Picture clarity is very good. And sound quality is awesome. cool DVD player for low price. Any one can buy it. The model is very slim and easy to carry and use.

This DVD player is the best stand alone DVD player in my opinion. It has a great range of media that can be played. The picture is good when plugged in with component cables. Its sleek, thin, lightweight design make it that much better.
