I went bargain hunting on the Internet and found myself a little gem of a 50 pack spindle of Philips DVD-R's on sale. I don't remember the store I found them in, and the sale is long over at any rate. I had been wanting to try this brand of blank DVD-R for the last year or two, being someone who has owned home DVD recorders since 2002 and someone who does an enormous amount of recording.  When I bought and began using them I was truly surprised that this is a high quality and reliable brand.  I say reliable because the last thing you want to buy is a brand of DVD-Rs that ends up giving you defective discs too often, which is the Memorex brand.  I would definitely recommend these to anyone who uses blank DVD-Rs. — I also like the designs on the discs, one of the best,… read full review »
