We got this TV to replace an older big screen, and I was blown away by the difference in picture quality!! It is super light and easy to move, but it is sturdy enough that I don't have to worry about my small Children knocking it off the TV stand. The picture quality is amazing! The colors are so vibrant, and the picture is crystal clear. Now when I'm watching the game I can feel like I am right there on the field with the players. The sound quality is pretty good as well. My wife appreciates that it is pretty easy to clean, and doesn't take up too much space in the livingroom (unlike the monster of a big screen that we had before). We've had several "game day" parties since getting this TV and it is so nice not to have to have everyone crowd right infront of the TV to be able to see what is going on. I love how the game can be seen from all angels. This TV has raised the bar for TV's and I would recommend this to all of my friends

I recently got this TV to replace an old 57" projection TV.  Although I really liked the old TV, this one is even better!  It is much, MUCH thinner so it doesn't take up so much room.  It is so light that I feel comfortable lifting/moving it on my own to clean around it.  The picture is much more clear, even on the channels that are not broadcast in HD.  The HD content is so incredibly crisp, that it seems like the actors on screen are right in the room in front of you.  The sound is fine, although I won't claim to be very particular about it in general (if I can hear it, I am happy).  The size of it is big enough, even though I am used to the larger screen.  The price was decent compared to other comparable models (even cheaper since I got a returned item).  I was a little hesitant to buy a returned item, but according to Philips the warranty is still in effect.  So far we have had no problems with it whatsoever.  Overall, I am very happy for the product and its performance.
