We bought the Phillips 42" we had it 3 hours and the volume went out for about 2 mins just a buzzing sound. My husband did some research and found that this was a common problem we decided to keep it for a couple of days to see if it would do it again and the next morning it did so we took it back to Walmart(which is all seconds I used to work there) We stood for 30 min until finally someone had time to help us. I took the kids and waited by the front of the store they talked my husband into trading it for a Sayno but the kicker is it was the display FYI don't buy a display even if they knock... review »

I've had this Philips 37" TV for a little over a year and a half and I love it. The 37' seems like a perfect size: 32-inch TVs seem too small and anything else seems too big.

My only complaint would be that the speakers could have more bass but the picture is awesome! 

You can also hook up your computer via VGA or HDMI which it a big plus for watching movies/shows from Hulu.com or wherever you want.

This is my first experience with a flat-panel TV and I am impressed.  The Philips 37" TV is the television of my dreams!  It was easy to hookup, has excellent picture and sound quality and has a stylish look!  I cannot say a negative comment about it!

tv needed repair at 13 months

The electrical board went out in 13 months...very expensive to replace with no warrenty on parts or labor...would not reccommend this tv.
