A must Mixer in the kitchen

By

Comments about Philips 175 Watts Hand Mixer:

To tell the truth I bought it just because of the brand name. I am a big fan of Philips products as I have many of them. This mixer is very handy & it can chop, mix, blend etc whatever a good mixer should be expected to do. The multi-speed makes it easier for one to choose based on the type of food you are trying to chop or mix. The stainless steel blades are very sharp durable. I have been using it for chopping vegetables, for fruit juices, beating eggs etc. It does not smell even after a longer run (as some mixers smell bad, motor smell I suppose) so I feel a little safer from that angle as well :)

It's size is also sleek & the wire gets wrapped around the mixer easily. You can store it in a small place as well like kitchen cabinet etc.

This is a durable mixer and I feel its a very good buy which would not only help you get your kitchen work done faster but also in a well systematic manner without much hassle.

Great Product for Beginners.

Comments about Philips 175 Watts Hand Mixer:

Got the product in a couple of days of ordering it. Its decent and convenient to use. Easy to operate 3 speed control. Very easy and non messy while churning butter from curd. Also nice to beat eggs for cakes and pastries, but personally would have preferred a 300W motor. No complaints though. But i am quite not so comfortable with the kneading function. Any day kneading is easier done in a food processor.
Fully detachable hook attachments makes for hassle free cleaning.

Not Durable

Comments about Philips 175 Watts Hand Mixer:

I purchased this product last year and since it was a Philips brand I was sure of the quality of the brand. The product has a stainless steel blade which made it easier for me to chop vegetables and also knead dough. The product was also able to use it for making fruit juices and I made palak soup for the first time with this product. The product is easy to handle and clean as well. I just need to dismantle the beater and clean the mixer with a warm cloth. It has a slide speed control switch which is useful in shifting speeds and it produces a better mixture.
However, I was not completely satisfied with the product as in two months, the mixer stopped working and I had to give it for repair. Since it was in warranty, the repair was done free of cost. After this, I used the product rarely and bought another mixer which I used regularly. I use this product for simple tasks like beating eggs, chopping vegetables and so on.

does everything a mixer should!

Comments about Philips 175 Watts Hand Mixer:

This is a great and versatile mixer. I also own the HR1457 with three sets of beaters: wisk, dough, and regular. It also has a storage stand and the cord wraps around the mixer itself without any problem. The cord also has a clip attached for securing. It is very compact and slides right between my other appliances in the cabinet. I usually use the wisk beaters most often as it makes any breads and cakes I mix a bit fluffier. I have not found the cord to be too short and it stands quite nicely when I need to pause and add ingredients to a recipe. I even use the back of the mixer to help crush any nuts to add to my baking. It is much easier than actually getting out the nut chopper and its seperate pieces to clean!

Philips hand mixer is a work horse

Comments about Philips 175 Watts Hand Mixer:

I own the Philips HR1457 hand mixer and use it every week to whip up some homemade goodies.  It is extremely durable and high quality; and excellent value!  I have never had the problems that I experienced with my previous hand-held mixer, such as a smelly motor straining to handle mixing a heavy batter.  This Philips hand mixer powers through whatever task the busy cook asks it to perform, from mixing pancake batter, to whipping up egg whites or whip cream, to even handling dough for batter bread.  It comes with a great storage stand and three different types of beaters:  wire wisks, "regular" beaters, and dough hook beaters.  I use the wire wisk style beaters most frequently as they are the easiest to clean and work for the widest range of functions.  I love the convience of using it for small jobs where getting out my huge Kitchenaid mixer would be a chore.  I'd definitely recommend this product!
