Phil and Ted's Sport Double Strollers Review

I purchased the Phil & Ted's Sport Double Stroller in orange after having a couple of double strollers from other brands that were quite frustrating.  The double strollers that are the tandem style with one in front and one in back are not only impossible to maneuver, but they also take so much of your trunk.  Then the side by side double strollers barely fit through door ways and aisles.  I saw the Phil & Ted's stroller and thought that it looked like a neat concept.  I had a different way of putting the second seat on the stroller, and it had the front wheel that swiveled around for added maneuverability.  I bought the Phil & Ted's Sport Double Stroller on Ebay for $400 which is a lot more than I had ever spent on any baby item.  When I got the stroller in the mail it was a bear to put together, but once it was all put together and I used it for the first time I was so excited because it was so easy to use.  I have had the Phil & Ted's Sport Double Stroller for almost two years now, and it still works great.  However, there are some cons to the stroller like the fact that it is not light.  It is not extremely heavy either, but it isn't light by any means.  Also, recently I finally decided that it needed to be washed really bad, and found out that you have to basically almost disassemble the whole stroller to get everything off to wash.  I had to unscrew stuff and take apart the stroller to get it all off, and then almost none of the spots came out because of the type of material they used.  I do like my Phil & Ted's Sport Double Stroller for a lot of reasons (as I mentioned above), but I do not think I would buy this stroller again because I do not feel it is worth that much money.
