I bought 3 bottles of these and took it for 2 months diligently. Nothing happened and not boost of energy. No weight lost and appetite still the same. It's like taking placebo. Very disappointed.

This was the last pill I tried before I decided to just stick to regular dieting and exercise for losing weight. This pill really affected my heart. I had the requisite jittery feeling, but it was multiplied by five in comparison to other pills in this category. I felt like if I sat down, even for a second, I would not get anything done. I was miserable. After the first few days, I just could not take it anymore. I made a doctor's appointment, because I was worried about what the side effects of this pill might do to me. My doctor told me to stop taking it immediately as I do have mild hypertension and this pill would make it way worse if I continued to take it. Also, she told me that a lot of people confuse this pill with a prescription diet drug called "phentermine" that actually has worked for a lot of patients. It is a scam that is pulled on desperate dieters to get their money, They get you to buy then send you a product that can be really dangerous and/or not work at all. BEWARE. This is a horrid product. Tell everyone you know to not use it!

I bought the over the counter version. I bought it because supposedly it was very strong and it said rapid weight loss. I have 10-15 lbs left to lose after having been to a diet Dr. I am still eating the way he instructed. Exercising 4-6 days a week. I can't seem to make this last bit budge. I did not lose one pound while taking this. I took 2 bottles. I can say there is a guarantee and I am waiting to hear back from the company about how they honor that. Also, I will say it gave me energy and little appetite. It just didn't take this last bit of weight off. I need something that works, but unfortunatly this is not the one.

It does what it's intended to do which is suppress your appetite. Because you wont be hungry you need to have meal and snacks planned. High in lean protein, High in fiber and low in carbs. If you starve yourself while taking this medication your body will go into starvation mode and begin to store everything eaten as fat. On or off the meds you will gain all the weight back if not more if you do not eat regularly. I would say every two to three hours. Here's an example: Breakfast- 1 cup decaf w/non-fat milk , 1 egg, 1 whole grain wheat toast, 1/2 tsp butter. Snack- 1 small apple, with 1 light mozzarella. Lunch- 1/2 turkey sandwich with all the veggies and mustard, a few carrots, 1 cup milk. Snack- 1 cup-fruit and veggie smoothie (love my vita-mix blender)! Dinner- 1/4 cup brown rice, 3 oz chicken and veggies. Following this you may loose less in the first weeks, however in the long term you will loose real weight and keep it off. I'm using this medication to change my lifestyle. I'm hooked on sugar, and carbs and I only want to take this medication until my cravings have subsided and healthy eating habits have been put in place. Side Effects Lots of side effects as you've probably read. It sounds like people on here are having overdose issues. Here's what I read about overdose: Overdosage Manifestations of acute overdosage with Phentermine include restlessness, tremor, hyperreflexia, rapid respiration, confusion, assaultiveness, hallucinations, panic states. Fatigue and depression usually follow the central stimulation. Cardiovascular effects include arrhythmia, hypertension or hypotension, and circulatory collapse. Gastrointestinal symptoms include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea and abdominal cramps. Fatal poisoning usually terminates in convulsions and coma. Management of acute Phentermine intoxication is largely symptomatic and includes lavage and sedation with a barbiturate. Experience with hemodialysis or peritoneal dialysis is inadequate to permit recommendations in this regard. Acidification of the urine increases Phentermine excretion. Intravenous phentolamine (Regitine®, CIBA) has been suggested for possible acute, severe hypertension, if this complicates Phentermine overdosage.

I have just stared taking this diet pill as of Friday the 29th May 2011, and feel on top of the world, I weigh 11stone 11poundsand and 5feel 3in and have tried so many diets since having my second child 2years ago, had some small results but lost motivation and pilled the weight back on. When I say I feel on top of the world I mean from feeling really down and guilty for eating wrong foods trying not to eat at all some days as one I started I just could not rain myself back in, you could say no will power, and I'll agree between work and family like I just don't really make time for myself planning healthy meals, preparing in advance so what would happen is I would wait till starving and grab the quickest option, since starting Phen, I feel like I not only never feel really hungry, but that I have more energy my mood has lifted and I am still fat but so much happier, I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Before I struggled to get dressed as everything looked wrong, Saturday I went shopping for clothes for the first time in a very long time! and no I haven't lost loads of weight but I could accept my size now as I know it's coming off, I've already lost about 7pounds since Friday, but for the first time since dieting I'm just happy to feel happy, and the focus has moved from pounds and ounces lost to wow I feel so happy, I can see that this is also having a positive affect on my family too, my 13year old keeps looking at me as though saying what's up with you!! aint you going to nag me about my room..lol (no I'll just burn some weight doing it for him) I have read in other reviews that people are finding it hard to sleep this is very true, I've had one good night's sleep but lost of tossing and turning and laying wondering if you are in fact asleep yet or did I even sleep at all. I do hope this will pass as one person did say it does settle. I'm in no way saying this is for everyone as I don't know how this drug will affect another person as we all have different make ups, but if it did give anyone the feeling I have I would say its just what you need to lose the excess weight without many failed attempts, I will post regular updates

I needed to lose 30 pounds and thiese pills really worked. I was not hungry did not snack all the time like I usually do and I had so much energy. They are great. You will have trouble sleeping at first but I reccommend these over any other.

I love this pill. I have lost 48 lbs in the last 8 months using this. It curves my appetite, and give me more energy. Now, don't be fooled. You still have to watch your calories and eat healthy for it to work. It is NOT one of those unbelievable ---no diet, no exercise ---- weight loss program. You still have to make healthy choices, and watch your intake. But it curves your appetite so well, that it makes it a lot easier to eat less. I still have a problem sleeping at first, but that lasted for only 3 nights then my body adjusted to them.

I started on this weight loss medication after getting my Annual Physical and having a higher than normal AIC. I hadn't been taking it on a regular basis when I first started taking it. I wasn't seeing results at all or if I did think I noticed some then a few days later it seemed non existent. I dedicated to taking it as I was supposed to and have felt great! I don't feel very hungry nor do I feel snacky. I was afraid this med wouldn't work very well on me because sometimes my snacking tends to be out of boredom, but I almost forgot to eat for the most part. I do feel a little jittery or restless at times but that seems to be the most side effects that I have experienced. I have been taking it for 2 months now and am actually excited to continue to take this medication.

I have been on the pill for 3 days and it has made me tired, depressed, no energy and stomach ache. It did supress my appetite,  I cant eat at all, I had apprx 500 calories each day. Everyone will have a different reaction to this pill. I perfer Phendimetrazine, I am getting back on that pill. I had very little side effects with that pill and I lost 8lbs in 10 days.

After years and years with struggling with weight gain and obesity I finally told my doctor I had had enough.  I tried every diet imaginable;weight watchers, jenny craig, south beach diet, low carb diet, fluid diet, no meat diet, subway diet, the liquid diet and many more.  Every new magazine I saw at the super market check-out that featured new diets I was buying and trying.  I would loss weight yet always gain it back.
