The Phantom of the Opera movie produced by Andrew Lloyd Webber was a flopped attempt at creating a live stage musical version on film. His first and major flaw was casting Butler as Phantom. review »This movie is the best movie that I have ever seen. My daughter turned me on to it by watching it all the time. I couldn't get into it at first, but, hearing it everyday, I had to turn around from playing on my computer to actually watch it. It has dreams, adventure, romance, love, action, horror, and it has unrequited love and love like no other. This move is the BOMB for me. I know that it is Opera, but, if you sit and watch it and listen to the words and watch the special effects, you will like it like I did.
This musical starts out slow, but once into it you can't stop watching. It even gets to be a tear jerker towards the end when the phantom loses his mask.
The music portions were fantastic and the singers were great!!
This movies is a must see for everyone.
