Lyrica gave back to me a better quality of life!!

I believe I have suffered from Fibromyalgia for most of my adult life. Back before it was even recognized in the medical community, I had episodes of fatigue and pain so bad that I had to stop whatever I was doing and lie down.

As I grew older, I ran out of things to blame for my pain. I had a hysterectomy at 41, and did really well for a while. However, not long afterward, I started to hurt again so much that it became unbearable.

By this time, I had done research and found out about a condition called Fibromyalgia. Of course, this was back when the doctors did not give this much attention. It took me a good while, but I finally found a doctor that actually specialized in the treatment and management of this condition.

This wonderful doctor prescribed Lyrica. This was about three years ago, and while I am not completely pain free, I am certainly a lot better. I am able to enjoy more things in life, from walking and exercising, to the simple things such as having my cats rub against my skin. Before Lyrica, there were times that I literally could not have anything touch my skin. It felt like fire being poured on me.

I am grateful that this medicine is available. It has truly changed my life for the better.
