I love all animals (including pugs!).

Hi! owayton, I have a cat, calico cat her name is Panini. Next year I'm thinking about getting a dog.  Can you tell me why you love pugs? what makes this breed a special little breed.

I have a black pug  - Taaka - which I love very much.

to Vetsy -- Pugs are just the right size, not to small, not to big.  Their looks can melt anyone.  So cute.  They are actually quite funny and can be comical a lot of the time.  Taaka likes to play, but also likes a lap and a nap most of the time.  The only downfall I've found in the 5 years we've had him is that he sheds because he's short haired.  But if you have a black pug and wear a lot of black (which I do anyway) then you don't see it on your clothes.  :-)   

Hello! giggles529, good info, I didn't know that short haired dogs could shed. I do love their silly little faces, they make me laugh when I see them.

I have a neighbor that has a pug/terrier mix...I knew I knew the face but had to ask the guy about him.  This is a mid size dog, pug head and terrier body...I will have to ask him if I could get a picture of Murphy...The dog is so lovable!

We have 3 short hair cats,persian,maine coon cat. A Pug and a Long hair Chihuahua. We have a house full.And believe it or not they all get along. lol.
