I know alot of people look for inexpensive flea produts whe it comes to your pets but that is a no-no.I buy mine a tube at a time for $13 dollars form my vet and most vets will allow you to do this.I learned a hard lesson a long time ago about Hartz flea medication.I bought some form my area supermarket and put it on my dog.Almost immediately he began to twitch his leggs like within the first 5 minutes and it continued and his eyes started t blink and I called my vet and took him in quicky.He was haivng seizures from the flea medicine.My vet told me the problem with Hartz flea medication is it is all the same dosage and the one they have like frontline and advantix are not they are adjusted so he said often it is far to strong causing neurological problems and sometimes even death.We washed it off really quicky and my dog had to stay over night for observation but it taught me a valuable lesson to never just buy anything because it says it is for a cat or dog because it could kill them so I dont and never will again.Even though my old dog is dead and thank God he was saved that time.
