There are thousands of animals being needlessly euthanized every day.  Purchasing an animal from a breeder is helping to lead to many of these deaths.  Many animals in shelters and rescues are full bred.  Please don't shop, Adopt!

We only feed high quality food to our personal cats and our many many fosters.  Corn is a main allergen for cats, and is used in many cat and dog foods because it is a cheap filler.  Think about cats in the wild.... they would never be caught eating a corn stalk.  They eat protiens such as chickens, rabbits, duck, etc....  Feeding "junk" foods like Purina, Friskies, Science Diet, 9 Lives, Eukanuba, etc.... is like you eating McDonald's, Burger King, etc... every day for every meal.  It may taste good, but how would your body react.  Wouldn't you rather pay a little more upfront for a high...

Kong

Kong
an animal rescurer, a dog lover

NOV

I have Rottweilers and went through every toy out there to provide them with stimulation. They have even destroyed the "indestructable" balls used for horses. Being an intelligent breed they will find something to do if you can't find something for them. I discovered the Kong toys and hit the jackpot. The kong is great for retrieving because you never know where it will bounce so it keeps them on their toes. I fill them with small teats and cheez whiz for short term entertainment. Then I got to thinking about what to do to make the fun last. The answer I came up with was to fill the Kong with peanut...

Litter Robot Self-Cleaning Litter Box

I have had my Litter Robot for 11 months and absolutely love it. Customer service is great. I had a minor problem with my first one and called the company. I didn't even have to explain much to the company they just sent me a new one. The new one they sent has worked perfectly. With one cat I empty it once a week on garbage day and there is no smell from it at all. Once I forgot and went two weeks without emptying it. Though it was pretty full it still didn't smell. It's very easy to empty and clean when needed. I also save on litter because none is wasted.

My cat thinks it's the greatest and for...

Chihuahuas Dog Breed

I never thought much of little chihuahua's until I ended up with one about ten years ago. since then she has traveled all over the country with me. She a great little friend and quite amusing sometimes. She's 4 pounds of dog with 100 pounds of attitude. I used to be a cable contractor years ago and I was working in the south miami/Homestead area, my truck was the ONLY one that never got "bothered" by any locals and I was in some pretty rough nieghborhoods. She didn't chase anyone down or anything, but she sure is a good "alarm".

My cats, love these treats! They know what the bag looks like and will nudge it out of my hand or my husbands.... they beg for more, Yes they are spoiled, they are great cats, not a problem and we love and adore them. Above all other treats they love these, they will stick their nose up at quite a few of the other treats out there. Kudos to Greenies!!!! We are begging for more!!!

Parakeets

I received this Parakeet from my daughter 2 years ago and I think it is a great pet.  The only issue is that you must keep the cage clean daily.  She talks to you and lets you know if she needs water , food or even just attention.  When you place her blanket oveer her at night she knows that it's quiet time and you won't hear a peep out of her.  She very easy to take care of and it not real expensive for her upkeep.

Kirkland Signature Super Premium Maintenance Cat Formula

Kirkland Signature Super Premium Maintenance Cat Formula

NOV

Since I only have one cat and wouldn't want to feed her the same thing for so long, I usually alternate buying this brand with Purina. Last week it was Kirkland's Maintenance Cat's turn...well my cat started pooping liquid within the next few hours, kept eating (and pooping liquid) for another day, then she refused to eat it, and started walking around the house looking really sad.

So I went and bought her Purina right away, and she's been sleeping and recovering, yesterday caught a lizzard, back to her old self.

I don't know if it's my cat not tolerating some ingredient (although she's had the...

Kibbles & Bits kibbles & bits dog food

NOV

We adopted our new puppy about four months ago from the local animal shelter and this is our families first dog.  Being new at the dog experience we had no clue what kind of food to buy for a puppy ( and one who was eating what ever was put in front of him at the shelter that was donated)  A freind of ours told us about Kibbles and BIts and we tried it. Our dog loves this. the food peices are the perfect size. He seems to really enjoy the flavor of the food. When we go to feed him he stands right at the food storage area waiting.  We want to give our Gunner the best and KIbbles and Bits seems...

I have one cat, and her litter box is in the downstairs bathroom. Which is off my kitchen, you would never know we have a cat. Because it controls the ammonia odor very well. It cllumps up very well, and it is not dusty. Which is a problem when your cleaning and refreshing the litter box. We have tried all different types of cat litter, and this has been the one we found to be the best for our cat. She is picky about her litter too. The price is in the middle range, and sometimes its on special at our grocery stores.
