For the last 15 years I have been a loyal customer of PetsMart. From Banfield Vet care to buying a Betta, I have always been a happy customer. l I love the friendly employees! "Mr. Handsome" my new Betta from PetsMart is on my computer desk and loves being home with me. I recently asked one of the store employees at PetsMart if my Betta could have some fish friends. I was told that tropical fish make good betta buddies! I plan on getting a 5 gallon tank, with a small heater to keep the water at 72 degrees for the tropical fish to enjoy. Always provide plants…

I have had great luck with fish from Petsmart. They have been healthy, reasonably priced, and the associates in the fish department seem to be pretty knowledgeable. The last fish I purchased there was a Beta. I named him Vincent (thought he only had one ear). My daughter said she didn't see an ear on the other side either, but oh well, I sure wasn't going to change his name after he seemed to come to the name Vincent. Nice thing about fish from Petsmart, they all seem healthy. I have yet to ever see a dead one floating, or even any sick looking fish. …

We brought our Beta fish into our home about 2 months ago,( a record for us in the fish department). We have had so much fun with him. Artemus has his own unique personality, and is the best purchase that we have made from PetSmart. He is so easy to care for. We have learned that one advantage to having a Beta fish is that he can breath with out all the oxygen trappings that other fish seem to need and he only needs to be feed once a day. Our Beta fish has a playful personality and my youngest has had the best of times watching him. I would recommend a Beta fish as a first time pet for any…

I got a male Crowntail Betta and a female Roundtail Betta a few months ago. Both are living peacefully in my 30 gal. aquarium. Bettas are very easy to care for and a very hardy fish. I would recommend them for any small or community aquariums. Just be careful when mixing them with fish with long fins (they tend to fin nip, although I havn't had any problems with…
