Good Nutritional Supplement

5

I purchased this to use as a nutritional supplement for my 16 year old kitty who was diagnosed with a mouth tumor. It was determined that managing her condition was the best option rather than surgery. KMR Milk Replacement proved to be easy for her to eat without requiring chewing while providing her with a good, easy to digest nutritional supplement. I started off with the canned liquid KMR and when I saw how much my kitty liked this, I switched to the powder which is more economical. She loved the powder just as much as the canned liquid variety. Either variety, canned liquid or dry powder works well and my kitty liked them both . Nothing went to waste as any leftovers in her milk dish was quickly lapped up by my other kitties. She likes this so much that sometimes I have to give her a second serving! Quality of Ingredients I have no way to test the quality of ingredients, but I am trusting the brand name. Flavor Selection Although there's only one flavor option, my elderly kitty loves it and my other younger kitties are quick to lap up any leftovers.

I recommend this for newborn kittens

5

For someone who has found a kitten who is too young to eat solid foods, this is an excellent choice. It can be put in a bottle for very young kittens still at the stage where they need mothers, and it's fine in a bowl for growing kittens to lap. Quality of Ingredients This is balanced liquid nutrition for baby cats who need a bottle as well older kittens who can drink from a bowl. I have raised newborn kittens successfully on this formula, and they grew up strong and healthy. It seems to be safe even for the youngest kittens, even those newly born who have lost their mothers and need total care from people. Sensitive kittens can still thrive provided they aren't overfed. I have also added slightly more water if the kitten shows signs of it being too rich, such as bloating and pooping more than he should. Flavor Selection There isn't a choice of flavors that I know of, but the plain product is something that small kittens like and thrive on. Older cats like it as well, possibly because the extra calories meant for growth taste very good to them.

Restored newborn kittens' health.

I orphaned a litter of kittens whose mother had died.I searched for the formula of replacement milk that most closely compared to mother's milk.People said this is the best.I have come to agree. It is the most accurate to matching cat's milk based on the results I've had compared to another popular brand. The previous brand I'd used for one week made them weak and sick.I switched to this to see if it were the KMR or something else like an illness. This restored their health. They were near death and it took less than a week for this to give them the turnaround they needed. This has high quality ingredients which are food grade according to the labeling.I use the ready to use liquid which makes feeding time a breeze. As soon as they cry for it,I just have to heat it up and I can feed them. This was my first time fostering newborn kittens and this product saved their lives in my opinion.I am thankful for it.

PetAg KMR Kitten Milk saved our kitten.

4

We found a 2 week old kitten in our yard a month ago and this or goat milk is what the vet recommended to feed him. We opted to go with the goat milk since it was a little cheaper, but he kept getting constipated. Now, we mix a small amount of this in with a little water with the goat's milk and it keeps him from getting constipated. Apparently they add something to it to help keep kittens regular, since it can be very serious if they get too constipated. He loves the taste of it and seems to not have any adverse reactions to it. It can be kind of hard to find, but we get it from our local veterinarian's office. It is a little pricey, so I am hoping we can wean him to more solid foods soon, but I have a feeling we will still be giving him a little of this for the constipation. I highly recommend this product if you have a small kitten who has lost his mother or even a kitten who is sick or having a hard time eating, since it seems to be full of good nutrients.

When a kitten won't nurse or eat - KMR to the rescue!

**KMRKitten Milk Replacement** - Available at pet stores - Directions are easy to follow - Can save a kittens life - Can keep in the fridge for 2 days **My Viewpoint!** KMR stands for Kitten Milk Replacement and without it there would be many kittens who die from being malnourished.  I once rescued a mom with 5 kittens.  All were in need of some extra nourishment because mom had a bad kitty cold and didn't have the energy to feed her babies like she should.  So **KMR** went to work adding the calories and the nutrients that all kittens needed to survive.    The rescue that I volunteer with buys the big 5 lb. bag because there are so many kittens and cats in need.  This allowed me to give extra help to a runt of the litter that couldn't fight his brothers and sisters to suckle on his mom.  After many feedings the runt was able to catch up to his siblings and find a forever home.   Anytime I get a kitten or even an adult cat that may need that extra push to thrive, I use **KMR.**  When mixing it up in the kitchen I have to fend off my other cats because they love the smell. I think that they think it's kitty candy.   Although **KMR** is a bit pricey, our rescue would not have so many felines make it to forever homes without it.  If you stumble upon kittens without a mom, I would immediately recommend **KMR**.  If you are looking for a milk replacement try this product you wont be disappointed.
