PetAg KMR Kitten Milk Replacement 12 ounces —

Some lowlife dumped two one-day old kittens in my car a couple of weeks ago.  I suppose that they heard that I am involved with animal rescue.  They left the kittens in a box with two well-worn kitten bottles, half a jar of Hartz Powdered Kitten Formula, and a dirty sock.  We eventually dumped the Hartz formula and opted for the KMR Kitten Milk Replacement Powdered Formula.

This formula is much easier to use than the cheaper Hartz stuff that I was using for the first couple of days.  The mixing rule of thumb is 2 formula: 4 warm water.  I usually mix it up in a liquid measuring cup and store any excess in it in the fridge until I can add it to the kitten bottle.  This powdered formula mixes very easily and doesn't leave any clumps, even when I use just a fork to stir it.

The guaranteed analysis on this food is 40% protein and 27% fat.  The main ingredients are wheat protein concentrate, casein, skim milk, vegetable oil, butterfat, corn syrup solids, egg yolks, etc.  It doesn't contain pork ingredients or carcinogenic preservatives like the Hartz powder does.

It's hard enough to feed newborn kittens... you don't need clumps and lumps from the milk replacement formula.  KMR Milk Replacement Formula was super-easy to use and the kittens just love to drink it. They've made it past the 2-week milestone which means that they have a very good chance of survival now.  I attribute a lot of that to the high-quality formula (KMR Milk Replacement Powdered Formula) that I've been feeding them.

This product has been very easy to use the the kittens are more than happy to suck it down.  It contains higher-quality ingredients than the Hartz formula did.  I have no qualms about paying like $20 per 12 ounces of powdered KMR Formula each week if it's going to keep these sweet babies alive.  If you wind up with orphaned kittens, you definitely need to get your hands on some KMR Kitten Milk Replacement Powdered Formula.

I am taking care of 3 orphaned kittens as well. We have no idea what happened to the mother cat. I have had good luck with KMR and have had the kittens 3 weeks now. We figure the kittens were 1 - 3 days old when we found them as their eyes were closed and they were impossibly tiny! You are a saint, but it is a very gratifying labor of love isn't it.

Awww bless your heart for taking such good care of them. My SIL's cat just had it's 5th litter of kittens and my FIL is already trying to give them away at 5 weeks. I'll keep this product in mind if I end up with the kittens until they're old enough to be adopted out. I want one of them but not all 5. I really need to grab the mother and have her fixed but she's not my cat. Poor thing is so tired of having babies. People just blow my mind sometimes.

Thank you for caring for those kittens and for not begrudging them the expensive formula they need.
