I have tried to use these pads in training my puppy, but I have had little success. What she uses the pads for the most is a place to lay down. I would have to agree that they attract the dog, but not for the use they are intended. We have gone through the process of putting the pad in the place "she goes" and moving it closer to the door over a period of time. She doesn't get it. What works best is to feed her at the same time daily and then I set the timer and take her out after about a half an hour. I like the idea, as I live in a place where it snows and she is small weighing 3 pounds, so I think she would like not having to go out in the cold. I am considering trying a doggy litter box.
