I do agree to what this gentlemen said about his african grey. they are the most intelligent of the parrots and are extremely good talkers. However they do require alot of time and work that I don't think some people realize. I know first hand that these birds need time and love to be able to get to their full potiental. I have seen to many people buy these type of birds just so they can say they have them and they never do anything with them and it is very unfair to the bird. I recommend to anyone considering purchasing a parrot of anykind that you do your research and homework on these birds, make sure you will be able to give them the best in life not just a cage and food as it takes more then that. I think what you do for your bird is great and it is one lucky bird. wish you well
