Cheap Candles

I ordered 24 "mason" jar candles (for $143.00+) that included a personalized sticker for the lid as giveaways for the guests at my mother's recent Celebration of Life service. The labels were faded and dull, appearing as if the printer was low on color ink. The candles lacked fragrance (suppose to be vanilla), the wax was bubbled, and the inside of the jars near the rim were cloudy with a wax residue, not clean, clear glass. The candles were old, as if they had been stored in a hot warehouse for a very long time. I complained and sent pictures. Personalization Mall indicated that the labels "matched the labels advertised" and further requested that I individually photograph the issues with each of the 24 candles. Unreal. When I disputed with PayPal, PM wanted me to return the candles at my expense. Hassle. I just trashed them. I was too embarrassed to GIVE them away, they were so cheap and damaged and old. The grief of losing my mother was only further exacerbated by this huge rip off.

NEVER Use this company. They don't have fast turnaround of 1-2 days. I sent multi emails and phone calls and no one had a clue about my order or the status. After weeks, finial spoke to someone and she was nice to say if my order didn't arrive by a certain date, that they would refund the shipping. That date arrived and no order. I contacted them to get my refund and they went back on their word. This business doesn't care about their customers or understand what customer service is. They know I'm upset and they don't even care. They haven't tried to do anything to fix this or make me happy. First and last time I use this company. Don't use them, I promise you, you will regret it big time. They just want your money and don't care about anything else. I can't remember the last time I been this irritated, frustrated and felt my business was so unwelcomed by a company. I'm speechless how they are still in business. AWFUL, AWFUL, company.

Customer abuse by their customer service representative

If I could give this company less than 1 star, I'd do it. One of their customer service representatives named Mary, called me crazy during the call. I called to inquire about approximate delivery date of my order. Then I thought about it and since it was a gift but was not arriving on time, I called again to cancel my order which is when she said "Oh man! I had this CRAZY lady call me twice today!" and then hung up on me. How can a customer service representative abuse customers like this! I'll never order from this company which employs abusers like this!

Spoiled the surprise by not sending the gift

Ordered a personalized gift for my husband anniversary and paid expedited shipping so that it could get to my address on time. The day of the anniversary, I still had not received the personalized gift. I called and was told that I still had to pay for the gift even though, I had to run out and quickly find another gift and no longer needed their product!

If the product you buy has a clock...BEWARE

I bought an engraved item that contained a clock. Right out of the box the clock did not work. Obviously their products are not tested before shipping.

I would avoid this company

I would avoid this company if I were you I received damaged merchandise which may not have been the company's fault but it definitely wasn't my fault they've been giving me the runaround now for days all I want to do is send it back for a refund and so far they still haven't allowed me to do that also I paid for overnight shipping and they shipped my order ground and they've been unwilling to refund the difference in the shipping cost so far customer service is definitely lacking I would avoid at all costs

Do not shop at Personalization Mall

I recently purchased a necklace from Personalization Mall. It took their customer service three days to respond to my email. The necklace I purchased was hand stamped. Two of the letters in the center of my daughter's name were stamped much deeper and darker; so much so that they looked like a completely different font. One friend that I showed the necklace to remarked that it looked like the two letters had be gone over with a black marker. When I was eventually contacted by customer service, after they had seen pictures of the horribly, defective necklace, I was told that there was nothing that they could do. I was offered a 20% discount on the necklace or a store credit. I am now stuck with a necklace that I would be embarrassed to wear. There was no way I was going to take a store credit. Personalization Mall will not be getting any more of my business EVER!

Do not use this company

wow - I wish I would have seen all the terrible reviews on line! Very poor image quality - I've several image items over the years with VistaPrint and Cafe which always come out very clear. This company is must use inferior equipment. When I called to let them know I was told it was a problem on my end and they offered a 30% discount on another item. They take zero responsibility for the very poor items they send out. Do not use this company!
