The floor was easy to install and my wife loves being able to "dust" the floor. Buy it today. I went to the local home improvement store, picked out the color and type I wanted and bought it. I loaded in into my wifes truck, carried it home and brought it inside. You need to wait a day so it can acclimate to the temperature inside the house, that way it won't bow. The next day, I got my saw hammer out and went to work. I had my kids help and we put that floor down in a day. My wife used to have to scrub the tile floor we had in the kitchen. Now all she does is get out the swiffer and dust…

I have had a Pergo floor since it first came out. It is nearly indestructable. You can drop an axe, a hammer, an entire appliance on it without a scratch. Your lawn furniture can winter on it, leaving behind a rust stain that cleans right up. But don't get any water in the joints. The particle wood under the laminate surface will swell right up, destroying the beauty of the flooring. This even means a moist sponge mop used to clean. The Pergo cleaner is great, but too expensive to use to clean a floor that is nearly 400 square feet, as it comes in a…

I love the beauty and texture of real wood, but even in a small room, the cost was prohibative. I searched and compared fake wood for months but couldn't find anything that looked real enough without being a real pain to maintain. When I found the Pergo, I was torn between the shades. All looked so real and had just enough texturing so that the look & feel were natural, but wasn't done so deeply that it would be impossible to keep clean. And I don't have to buy any special…
