really good movie... i had to see it more than just one time... i recomend it to everyone, theres no other movie as good as this one with an unique story begin of it.

Perfume piqued my interest when I saw it in the movie store due to the premise: A young frenchman with a unique sense of smell becomes obsessed with the scent of a young woman and can not rest until he has captured the essence of her scent.  I saw that it was an erotic horror movie, which I was ok with because I wasn't watching it with children or anything.

 So, the beginning of the movie is fascinating- it details his birth, childhood and adulthood up to the point he meets this woman.  Then he realizes what his gift is supposed to be used for in his mind, and he sets out to accomplish that. ...
