It's clear this will work long term, but adjusting to a workout this difficult is, well, difficult. If you are in between workouts when setting your "max" (you'll know what I mean if you use it), go down, not up. Completing the recommended workout is very tough. Still, let's hope persistence pays...

The iteam simply sucks. I don't know why anyone would possibly want to buy one of these. Get a grip on the dynamics of building muscle. Protein and excersize. that is all that is needed. A regular pushup works the same. The advertising is a bunch of junk. It sucks allot.

I've bought an ab-roller, a wheel thing, a belt that emits electrical currents.  I've bought work-out videos and yoga videos.  What do all these purchases have in common?  I stopped using these products after a few uses.  I bought the perfect push-ups several months ago and still use them.  They are easy to use, take up little space and most importantly, they work.  I've noticed a change in my muscle tone, especially in the triceps, and to a lesser extent, the biceps and chest.  I don't follow the program religiously.  i do the exercises once a day, and sometimes everyday, sometimes... review »

I purchased this in a store to save on shipping costs...not to mention, if I didn't like it, it would be much easier to return.  Well to my surprise, it not only works, but well!  If you're not accustomed to doing push ups, this is a great way to do them and properly.  It helps you to keep your body straight and definitely helps to define and build upper body strength.  My daughter used it for two days and was able to do 35 push ups straight the next time she went to practice!!!  And for myself, if I don't want to do regular push ups, you can use this up against a wall and for the "girl" push... review »

I had seen the commercial like everyone else so I decided to purchase the Perfect Push up and I have to say that they work very well. They really do work all sorts of muscle groups. If you are a women or someone that can't do a lot of push ups don't worry because you can do them on your knees and it still works your arms out very well and you will be able to build up your strength so that you can do the push ups like normal. I love the Perfect PushUp.  You'd be surprise on how sore you would be from the first day of using them!  They are really fun to do, they make exercising more exciting and it makes me actually anticipate exercising!  You will feel how all your arm, body, and even ab muscle will work if you do the pushups and program properly.  So go ahead and try it out!  It may be steep with the price of about $39.99, but in my opinion, it's definately worth the results of having a ripped body.

it really works and helps you with your biceps. This is a great in-home piece of equipment to primarily exercise the chest (pecs), front shoulder (anterior deltoids), and back of the arms (triceps). this is an especially good piece of equipment to use if you have wrist problems since it can rotate and let your wrists do what they do naturally with you do this pressing type motion- unlike other exercise equipment where your hand is fixed on a bar.

Most Difficult Push Up Ever!

The Perfect Push Up is extremely difficult, yet extremely effective.  There is no pain or discomfort in the shoulders, elbows or wrists - yet the workout results are obvious.  The DVD that comes with it is in depth, clear and interesting, and the variety of workouts it suggests is great.  There are so many ways to use this machine to build muscle in arms, stomach, back, legs and chest.  This is a great product!

In my opinion its a expensive toy that is really only to keep your hands from touching the ground. The Perfect Push up is 2 handles that you grab  that you put between your hands and the ground and then you do the push up.Why pay 39.99 to not get your hands dirty, Its call buy soap for 99cents your hands are clean again.

The perfect push-up

I'm not a big exercise fanatic.  This is a product that helps motivate me into doing a few push-ups and sit-ups every night.  It is very well build!!!!  Give them a try!!!

You can get jsut as good a push up by doing a regular push up on the floor.  Don't waste your money buying htis product.
