Perfect Flame Model SLG2007D Grill —

We purchased this grill at Lowe's when our 16+ year old Sunbeam Grillmaster finally died.  We should have gone with a better brand!  We purchased late in the 2007 season, and by the end of the season the center burner was rusting out.  Now, starting the 2008 season, and the other 2 burneres are starting to rust out, and the center one is useless.

We have contatced Perfect Flame for replacements under their 10-year warranty, but have yet to hear back from them.

Lowe's does NOT carry replacement parts (I would purchase new burners for a nominal cost if need be).

Price on Grill Stuff and BBQ Depot means that the 3 burners will cost over half what we paid for the grill.  If we are left with this option, this grill will be going to the dump and we won't be buying another Perfect Flame grill...EVER.

PS-We are NOT the only one to have a problem with burners on these grills.  I found several posts on BBQ forums with others having the same issue.

I could not agree more. This is a poor excuse for a grill and there is no warranty if you can not get the parts. I can not even find where to buy a smoker box and other parts are beginning to fail.
I plan to leave mine in the parking lot at lowes and never, never go back.

Same problem, all burners totally gone after 1 1/2 years. Chinese Junk for sure.

i have a slg2006c perfect flame grill with the same problem. All my burners rusted out. I have six burners and heat plates. Replacement parts come out to half what i paid for the grill.

measure the burners and buy universal burners to put back in it. They shouldn't cost as much as one's made specifically for it. Unless of course perfect flame honors the warranty then it should not cost you anything. ;) Ron
