I discovered the Pepperidge Farm Dark Chocolate Drenched Milano cookies a few years ago at my local Target store. I do enjoy the regular Milano cookies, which have a ribbon of dark chocolate between two sugar cookies, but the dark chocolate drenched cookies are several notches better.
During the end of the year holidays, Pepperidge Farms produces the Milano cookies drenched in dark chocolate. The 4.3 ounce box of cookies are not cheap--you get just seven cookies in a box that retails for $3.99.
Yes, that's right. Four dollars for seven cookies.
So I consider this limited edition cookie a rare treat and I splurge a bit on myself at the end of each year. I've also discovered that our local Pepperidge Farm outlet store has these cookies in January. I stock up then and keep a couple of them in the freezer for a treat throughout the year.
