I usually don't repeat a food that has given me heartburn. Something that upsets my stomach, I just stay away from. Common sense, right? Well, I don't always practice what I preach. Yes, I fall to temptation to the occasionally heartburn churner. You know what I am talking about. The fried dish you should stay away from for so many health reasons. But you eat it anyway. Yummy, you think as it goes down to your tummy. Sometime later you clutch your middle thinking, 'why did I do that'? You know the burning sensation, the bloating. When I am in that situation I always reach for my PEPCID ACID REDUCER. I always have it in my medicine closet close at hand. After chewing the tablet I know I will be in less pain after 15 minutes. It coats my the inside of my stomach with relief. I have offered PEPCID as relief  to so many of my friends and relatives  that they ask me if I am the official spokesperson. Joking aside, this is truly the best over-the-counter remedy for an upset tummy. I always carry some in my purse, just in case. One more plus about  is that the taste is not chalky like other over-the-counter remedies. The berry flavor goes down well. I like the Pepcid Complete Chewable tablets.  I like the convenient dosing.  They are easy to take on the go, since they are chewable and no water is needed to take them.  They work pretty fast on my heart burn.  I am an occasional heart burn sufferer, not a chronic one.  I wouldn't recommend this product for a chronic heart burn sufferer (better to try prilosec or prevacid).  This product tastes good as compared to other products, like tums.  I have tried the tums chewables and I hate the taste of those.  I did not seem to have any side effects after taking it.  With the tums, I always found that it was constipating.  With the pepcid complete, that was not a problem.  It has the calcium like the tums (which constipates) but it also has magnesium to counteract that problem.  The calcium and magnesium work fast to take care of heart burn while the famotidine keeps the heart burn away for the remainder of the day.

I really don't any problems with acid indigestion, but I live with someone who has a bigggggg problem with it, My husband. When he has a problem of course it becomes my problem. He has had a problem with acid indigestion for a long time and he was tried many other over the counter medications but the one that works the best for him is Pepcid AC, He prefers it to all other meds, after he takes it he gets good relief. I am the one always buying it for him and it also helps that they have coupons out for pepcid AC. The best part is that its chewable and I don't need to go running to get him a glass of water, all he needs to do it chew it and it's done and heartburn relief is coming soon. Of course there is the other variety where you can swallow it with water and it works the same for him but I think this is more convienent as you don't need to get water. I would recommend this product to anyone with heartburn.

I get indigestion very easily and have for years taken different products that worked sometimes but certainly not regularly. My mother tried these and told me how great they worked. That was several years ago and I have had great results. RARELY do they not take care of indigestion and they work very fast. I haven't gotten any other brand since. The berry flavor are just as awesome. I have recommend Pepcid Complete to many people.

I have suffered from heartburn and acid reflux for over 10 years so I have tried many different products. From over the counter to prescribed medication. For times when you cant afford a prescription medicine or one isn't needed and you just want to get fast relief from the burning I think Pepcid Acid reducer chewable tablets work well. They don't have a bitter or bad taste and they are good for someone who might have problems with swallowing pills. I thik because they are chewable they tend to work more quickly than pills you swallow that have to dissolve first before they do their job. They also last throughout the day, not like some that you need to take 2 or more dosages to have relief throughout the whole day. The cost is a bit more than a generic brand or some of the others, but if it's fast relief and all day relief you want then it's worth paying that little bit more. I would recommend this for over the counter acid reducer

When I first discovered Pepcid, I was not very pleased with their caplet. I didn't find it effective. I was a little hesistant to try their Pepcid Complete chewable verison but I heard good things from a friend. You will pay for this product, but it is more than worth it. I was glad that I tried it. Initially, I wasn't too happy with the taste of the original flavor, but it was effective. I was happy to relieve my heartburn symptoms and I only had to take one tablet verses 2 Rolaids or Tums. So imagine my delight when I discovered the Berry version. I fell in love with this product after one taste. It was smooth and sweet. I did not know that medicine could taste so good. The taste did not change the effectiveness. It actually made the entire experience even better. My heartburn, acid reflux, indigestion and gas were all relieved in a tasty way.

Pepcid Complete, Acid Reducer Antacid, Chewable Tables are my favorite option for heartburn. I don't get heartburn very often, usually when I'm carrying around some extra weight especially when I'm pregnant. I'm not sure where these fall on the pregnancy safety list, but they were a life saver with my first pregnancy. You can only take one tablet a day, and I usually took it as soon as I started to feel any symptoms of heartburn. I did try during my pregnancy to take rolaids or tums, which are actually on the pregnancy safe medicines list. However, those medicines did nothing to help the heartburn like Pepcid Complete does. So in summary the Pepcid Complete Antacid is affordable, doesn't require a perscription, tastes good, and one bottle seems to last a long time. Cons for Pepcid Complete Antacid would be that its not necessarily pregnancy safe and may not be strong enough for severe heartburn.

Pepcid has a great product for extinguishing the flames of heartburn. One pill before eating will prevent the fire. or one after eating will extinguish the burning sensation. I have been using this product for a few years and find it to be a reliable friend when needed. This is one product that works as advertised. bwf
