I feel like it's Christmas all over again , every time my mail man delivers my new issue of People magazine. I love reading about the real lives of famous people, it humanizes them and can make me feel not so alone with different obstacles I've faced. I also enjoy reading up on fashion trends and articles on current news events. People often has details that television news and other publications do not.

I would have given this a ten, but it has changed over the years so much there are a few things that bother me. I hate the amount of ads in it. I understand this is needed to pay for the magazine, but they could scale back a little, it seems like every other page is an ad, literally. Other than that it's still a great magazine that features stories that are relevant or the average person. I love how they focus on big stories in the news, and whenever there is a big event in this country they will feature it on the cover. They always have great coverage of awards shows, with all the pictures of the stars, and fabulous quotes from various people. I enjoy the section about births, deaths, weddings, legal troubles, etc. it always keeps me up to date about what's happening in the world as well as Hollywood. This is a great magazine that covers all sorts of stories and shows different people's points of views. Some stories are heart breaking while others are inspiring. I will continue to read this magazine for a long time to come.

I do not think I have ever been able to walk by a magazine stand and not purchase a People magazine! I love everything about this magazine. I feel like they only report on stories that are true and they always try to get all of their stories confirmed by the person it is about or by a source close to the person. I also love hearing and keeping up with celebrities' lives and I feel like I get to by reading People magazine. There layout and pictures are so visually appealing and they include everything from fashion to celebrities to human interest stories in their magazine so there is something for everyone to read. I love that they cover products that celebrities actually use because lets face it we all trust celebrity endorsements the most because they always look stunning. This magazine offers something for everyone and always writes with their readers in mind.

I have been reading People Magazine for about 15 years now. What I like about People Magazine is that it's a guilty pleasure that actually is interesting to read. People is one of the only magazines that posts articles with sustenance. People gives stories of real people, as well as celebrity gossip. It has a perfect combination of real life people, real world problems, and celebrity woes. It's perfect for a light reading but also is informative. I will be a loyal People fan forever. I just wish the magazine subscriptions were cheaper!

This magazine began with the statement that this was not a movie or celebrity magazine with sensational stories but a magazine about everyday people. What went so wrong? This is a gossip rag of the worst order! The magazine has shrunk about 50% in the last few years and is mostly ads. This magazine has birthed numerous copy- cat rags that have made important such illustrious and quality persons such as Paris Hilton, all the Kardashians and other such vital members of society. I cannot figure out why anyone wants to support such paragons of bad choices and bad behavior? To think that some reasonably intelligent people she'll out hard earned many for this trash amazes me

I would give People Mag a higher score if only it wasn't so $$$$ expensive! Even through a cheaper broker! Most of this info you can read online anyway, so to keep subscribers, they really should lower their rates. I gave us my subscription several years ago, and now only read it when I'm at my dentist's office! Other than the cost, I really like the mag.

I like this magazine because it is sort of like an upscale tabloid with lots of celebrity gossip, but unlike the tabloids, there are some facts found on the pages.  The magazine features lots of pictures of your favorite stars out and about on the town, at their homes or out with friends, and real interviews fom the stars themselves on not only what is going on in their life, but helpful advice on how to stay model thin, or what to wear in the coming season.  Special issues feature the world's best dressed celebrities, or star weddings and each issue has tons of celebrity photographs to go along with the gossip whether it be fact or fiction.  I like the reviews of recent television, movies, and music and they do feature real life stories of normal people who have overcome obstacles or faced tragedy in their lives.  My favorite issues are the ones that feature star recipes or the sexiest men alive.  This is a great light read magazine to keep you up to date on all the hollywood happenings.

This is a magazine that I would only read in a Doctors office if there wasn't anything else more intelligent to read.  It give all the dirt on all the stars.  I would imagine that if you and I were amonst the people that this magazine was dishing, we would find it quite offensive.

I love People Magazine although I can't afford it on a regular basis like I can other women's magazines.  I got a free subscription through Best Buy recently and I am glad to have that.  I love People because they have great current pics, especially of celebrity babies without being too "in your face" to the stars.  The news they have seems pretty factual as compared to tabloids.  I highly recommend this, although you will pay more.

ive read people magazine for years and it has never let me down. it keeps up with all the latest goings on,lets you know whos hot and whos not. if you like tv and movies its great to keep up with things. my whole family likes to read it .even when friends and family come to visit they all pick it up and read thru it.
