Most HelpfulPeople Magazine costs a lot to subscribe to, but I think it's worth every cent. It costs at least double what other magazine subscriptions do, but it comes weekly which is something nice to look forward to.
There is NO JUNK in People Magazine. It's filled with very meaningful articles, heartwarming...

Most HelpfulI hate going to the dentist. Not because I fear the drill, but because I fear the waiting room. Where else can you count on being bombarded by back issues of People?
People magazine sucks. Short articles geared towards people who can't understand complex thoughts irritate me. I can't imagine anything...
review »People is a great way to stay up to date on the latest fashion trends and celebrity gossip. They dont offer a lot of substance in their articles or much depth, but it is a fun magazine to scan.
It is a bit pricey for a subscription so I would consider looking into US Weekly or others...
When People Magazine debuted in early 1974, it was an off-shoot of Time Magazine and it was an immediate hit.
People focused on people in the news (usually in a good way) and people we should take note of. Often, the people that were brought to our attention were obscure, everyday people; subjects of a human interest story.
That was then, this is now
Today, People is still a very popular magazine, but the contents have been considerably diluted from its Time Magazine days.
These days, People competes directly with lesser celeb gossip magazines such as US Weekly, Star and Entertainment Weekly. You're...
review »People is the only entertainment magazine that I trust. US Weekly, Star, Intouch, all those other celebrity/entertainment magazines I take their info with a grain of salt. Though I probably shouldn't, I usually believe everything I see and read in People to be true. This may be an assumption as well, but I feel that celebrities hold People magazine to a higher regard than other entertainment magazines as well. Afterall, People is the magazine celebrities often sell their first baby pictures to right?
I love to read people magazine because they don't just have one certain topic. They have real life stories about things that interest just about anyone. Of course they still have the celebrity pictures and gossip, that's the reason to pick up a gossip magazine in the first place, but they also have movie reviews and attention grabbing stories. Also, I love their website. I've made it my homepage. They have great breaking news stories as well as interesting pictures and fun games. They also have fun celebrity facts.
Great magazine to keep you up to date on all the latest Smut. Love the personal stories articles, and the place they have about new books, or movies, music etc. Great place to read a review on interesting books, gives you ideas of new ones to read. Also love to see all the new trends going on around the world. And All of the trash on all of the Celebs. It is a little coslty but they do offer installment payments, so that helps disperse the cost a little bit!
People magazine use to be a good source for celebrity news but this is no longer the case. The magazine has aligned itself with certain celebrities and has bought interviews and positioned the articles in a light that is desirable for that star. People magazine doesn't tell the full story, only the version the star prefers you here.
