A few months ago my husband and I booked a 4-day cruise out of Miami and decided to fly down a few days early to extend our vacation to a week and stay in Ft. The Pelican Grand Beach Resort was an exceptional hotel. We were upgraded to an oceanfront suite at no additional expense. The rooms were extremely clean and well decorated. The beds were very comfortable and the view of the ocean was perfect! The staff were extremely friendly and accomodating. The restaurant fare was totally acceptable. The $12 a day valet parking fee was well worth the price. You call for your car from your room and by the time you get downstairs your car is waiting.
