Peg Perego Aria Twin Double Stroller Review Summary

For the quality that Peg Perego is known for, and the amount paid for the Peg Perego Aria Twin Stroller, many reviewers found themselves quite disappointed with their purchase. As an ultra light double stroller, the Peg Perego Aria Twin is compact enough to fit through most standard doorways. On top of being lightweight, reviewers state “it folds into a long, tall pancake shape pretty easily” making storage and carrying a snap. Beyond these features though, this Peg Perego Double Stroller becomes difficult to steer once any additional weight is placed in it - a slight problem if you plan to use it for children. Also the Aria Twin tends to get “stuck on teeny tiny cracks in the sidewalk.” Upon reflecting on her purchase, one mom states “I’m not sure I would have chosen this one if I had to do it all over again.” With this in mind, you are invited read what parents of two have to say about their favorite double strollers here on Viewpoints.

I purchased my Aria double stroller on ebay new from another parent who hadn't used it.  I love how flat it folds and that it stands easily in my van.  When I still had a car though, it wouldn't fit easily in my trunk without taking up the entire space.  Definately not great if you are short on space,... read full review »

This is a decent twin stroller if you just need something for infrequent trips to the mall, but it is not good on uneven sidewalks or grassy fields, so it's not useful for much else.

It can be steered single handedly, and it folds into a long tall "pankake" shape pretty easily.  Plus it only weighs...

I recently had baby #2 (6 months ago) and purchased the peg perego because that is the car seat that I own and am so glad I went with this stroller. The 60/40 feature allows you to easily put your car seat in one side and have your toddler in the other side. Once baby #2 is out of the car seat he or she can be moved to the smaller side and the toddler placed on the bigger side. It folds very easily and is about as light as a double stroller can be. It fits easily in the back of my SUV, however I am not sure how it would fit inside of a car trunk. The stroller is very safe for both of my children... read full review »

I recently got a peg perego aria double stroller second hand. I personally love it although it looks like the reviews are tough. It is harder to steer once both kids are in it due to weight distribution but i assume that happens with a lot of strollers. My favorite part is the light weight of the stroller... and i love that my kids sit side by side. They can see and entertain each other. Though this does make it hard to maneuver through some things, i find it more helpful than hurtful.

This thing is wonderful to travel with. It is so easy to fold and open up. All you do is pull basically and...

We bought the Peg Perego Aria Twin stroller with the other Peg Perego products in mind. Our family and friends have owned single strollers from Peg Perego with good experiences, and we figured we can't go wrong with their double stroller. We were wrong.

First thing I noticed upon receipt of this unit was that the whole thing was plasticky and cheaply made. The cup holder was the first to fall off and disappear. Next was the clip that holds the plastic bar piece in front of the child came lose. You can't get behind screw to tighten the nut because they riveted the rest of the unit in place rather...

We bought the Peg Perego after doing online research for a double stroller.  We were having our second making our children 13 1/2 months apart.  While both of the girls were small, the stroller seemed to work better and was easier to handle.  However, as they both got bigger, it has gotten more difficult to steer, etc.  The girls are now 1 1/2 and 2 1/2, and have about 10 lbs. weight difference.  When the younger one is alone in the stoller it is easy to move, but the older one in there alone is still difficult.  It does fit through a normal doorway, but it can be pretty tight.  Also, it... read full review »

I do have to admit my main reason for buying the peg-perego aria stroller was because of the name.  I had always thought that peg-perego was a step above.  I was impressed with the look of the stroller, however once I started pushing my 2 little ones around in it, I found myself very disappointed.  It is extremely difficult to maneuver in tight spaces.  It doesn't really fold up too compactly, luckily I have a huge trunk to fit it in.  It is made for going straight, no turns, on a nice polished smooth surface (free from debris), the mall floor would be my best example.  Try walking with this... read full review »

I registered fir this horrible stroller for my twins.  I got it as a gift way before i was due. the twins were premature and did not go outside for a long time. So by the time I used the stroller it was over a year since it was purchased.  It fell apart in days! I used it 2-3 times and pieces were falling off.   I called compnay to order parts.  Customer service rep stated that next time I called I would be charged for parts because it was over a year.  I wanted to return this product because i didnt think it was safe either.   It is very hard to stear once you put weight in it. ... read full review »

i absolutely love this product but there is one problem, the under carriage is very low and once you put even a diaper bag it drags the undercarriage and tears it in no time. difficult to manouver. sticks in most mall doors

pros:

opening is easy

cleaning is easy

light weight

very stylish

 cons:

low clearance

the cup holder breaks in no time

This stroller was excellent for my newborn and 18 month old. The seats fully recline for the baby and the removeable snack tray kept my toddler in. It's lightweight and folds up to fit in a small car. I loved this stroller. The only drawback was that once my toddler became a preschooler....the stroller was too unbalanced to have them both in it. Kids need to be within 15 pounds of each other for it to work well.

We have had this Aria Twin stroller for almost 3 years.  It has done well for our daughters, but it is not very durable.  Even though we have taken care of it, it has holes worn into the matierial, and the bottom basket has been sagging for at least a year.  For the money we paid for it, we would have expected better quality.
