Peg Perego Aria Single Stroller is a great lightweight stroller

3

Every stroller has pros and cons but this one has been a good experience for me and what I need it for. My 5 month old is our third child and the days of bulky strollers swallowing up our trunk are over! I needed something compact, lightweight, and easy to open so I could tend to the baby but also be easily accessible to my other two when I take them out all at once. This stroller fits my needs for that. The cons, for me, have been that it is a little difficult to maneuver the front wheels around corners and I wish the sun visor and storage basket were a little bigger. Tip: you DO NOT need to buy a peg perego infant carrier for this stroller. I use a graco carrier, and, it fits securely into the stroller when the seat back is reclined all the way.

Many benefits to Peg Perego Aria

4

I did a lot of research before purchasing the travel system for my daughter, born in 2007.  Peg Perego was rated highly on almost all sites and books that I read, which lead me to choose them.  I thought at the time that I would need to buy a carseat and stroller from the same line.  I have since learned that this is not necessarily true.  Of this travel system, I love and still use the stroller but wish that I had bought a different car seat.  But that is for a different review.  My daughter is now almost 4 and we still have and use this stroller regularly.  The most important "pro" for me is that it is light.  It is very easy to open and close as well. You really  need two hands to open and close it, but it is light enough to lift into the car with one hand.  The sun canopy is OK, it doesn't cover as much as other strollers but serves its purpose.  The tray is just big enough for snacks and holds a sippy cup which is all I really need it to do.  There is plenty of storage underneath and we bought a cup holder to attach to the handle for my drinks.  Overall, very satisfied with this product.

Peg Perego Stroller has it's strengths.

What really attracted me to the Peg Perego Aria stroller is that is so light weight and supposedly a one handed open and close.  I can say that it really does live up to those things. I can be holding my baby and easily open and close this stroller. Living on the third floor of an apartment complex also makes the fact that it is light a necessity.  I can easily carry this stroller and my child up and down the stairs without loosing my breath...too much.:)  I really like the fact that it has a five point harness and that the back of it can be lowered and raised.  You can lower the back for an infant and raise the back as your baby gets older and wants to be sitting up more. It is easy to adjust also. It has a tray on the front for baby to have a sippy cup or snacks and it has a big bin on the bottom for carrying things. The negatives are that it doesn't have a cup holder, bin, tray or anything for "mommy" to put her cell phone, keys, water, etc up top.  Also I have found that the wheels sometimes get stuck or are hard to control. The stroller sometimes requires some serious navigating as it gets squirrelly and the wheels get stuck.  Other than that I have really enjoyed this stroller.

Peg Perego Aria Easy to Fold Away

4

We have been using our Peg Perego Aria single stroller for just over four months now and overall no major complaints.  We were fortunate enough to find a "last season" color so were able to get a relatively good deal.  That being said, I'm not sure I would be as happy with the Aria if I had paid full price for it.  The reason we got it was that it is very light weight.  The strollers that come with travel systems all seemed to heavy and bulky, and most were not that easy to collapse.  The light-weight Aria sold us.  It is very easy to collapse with a single hand and is also easy to load into the car with a single hand too.  It weighs only about as much as a snap and go.  There are of course some cons.  Our front wheels seems to get spun around sometimes, so manuevering corners quickly sometimes doesn't work - the wheels seem to get stuck sideways almost, so you have to pull back and go again.  Also, some of the plastic pieces, things like screw covers, have fallen off, as has a piece that holds the cupholder on.  Those are more cosmetic, though.  Even though the front wheels make it a bit difficult to push at times, the light-weight aspect and ease to fold make me overall a satisfied customer.

Peg Perego Aria stroller has strong positives and negatives

3

The Peg Perego Aria stroller is an average stroller with some pluses and minuses.  It's positive attributes are the five point harness and the light weight.  I bought it specifically for the harness.  My child is an escape artist so it was necessary to find a stroller to keep him in safely.  A five point harness alone does not work, but if I put on a shirt with overall straps and put the harness through the straps it does the trick.  It is also lightweight and folds up nicely for a full sized stroller.  The negatives are that the steering is terrible.  I have the One Hand version and you can barely steer it with two hands. The front wheels spin fully which should allow it to steer better but they often turn sideways and cause it to turn the wrong way or not move.  The cup holder is also a disaster.  It folds down often from the weight of the cup.  I personally would have preferred a different stroller but it has been adequate.

our favorite stroller

We just love our peg perego aria stroller. It stays in the back of the car, and I can get it in and out of our small svu very quickly. The best part about it is the ease of unfolding and folding. You pretty much just push a button and it flips open. It takes about 5 minutes of practice the first time you use it and then you're a pro at it. Also, it is the most lightweight stroller I could find. It weighs less than some umbrella strollers. I will definitely try to buy the double stroller version when the time comes. The basket underneath is a little flimsy, ours already has a small hole in it. The handle is a lighter weight plastic, but I would rather have a little flimsiness as a trade off for the light weight. It is definitely worth the money. We purchased ours in the red, gray, and white and I get compliments on it all the time. I also like how big the hood is, no other light weight strollers had such a great hood except the macclaren. Glad I picked this one.

Great lightweight stroller

4

We got this stroller because it was so lightweight and we have not been disappointed. My daughter is two years old now and it has held up really well. One concern I had initially when buying was in regard to putting an infant seat in it. I wasn't impressed with the Peg Perego infant seat so I got a Graco instead. I wasn't sure if the Graco seat would fit in the stroller but it did and we used the two together a lot as a travel system.  I will say that as my daughter got older (and heavier) the tray on the stroller which the car seat rests on started to bend which I didn't love. Two things that I don't love about this stroller are 1. The cupholder is flimsy. Ours fell off right away and so I just do not have it on the stroller anymore  2. The storage underneath the seat is big but hard to get things in and out after you have your child in the stroller. Other than that we love it and would definitely recommend it.

Worst stroller don't waste your money

1

This stroller should be recalled. What a horrible design on a stroller, one would think you would make a stroller that a kid is going to sit in, move around and sleep in durable. But this is not. When you try to move the seat up and down to adjust if the child is sitting or sleeping the string you have to pull is the hardest thing to pull. And if your child is sleeping then good luck trying to hold yor child up in order to pull the string to adjust. Please do not waste your money on this stroller, it is not easy to adjust and my daughter got very aggrivated everytime I would try to get her to lie down in it. To open and close this stroller is not easy either. This is not ideal for parents that want a easy stroller. I have other Peg Pregos and they are made a lot better, I wonder why on earth they thought of making this model and though it would succed. I would not reccomend this strollers to others. Especially the ARIA model.

It's horrible.

I have had so many strollers I don't know where to begin.  My son just turned two years old and I have already owned 4 strollers.  I hate each one of them for different reasons.  I thought this one was going to be my answer.  I was wrong.  I hate this stroller as well.  Don't get me wrong, I do like one aspect of it, let me explain.  My son is on the bigger side and this stroller has plenty of room for him to move around.  But because he is on the bigger side that makes it difficult to move this stroller around in the stores.  The wheels are awful!!!!!  I can't turn this thing around without breaking a sweat.  It gets to the point where I start sweating in order to push him around.  The one thing I actually like on the stroller is the 5 point harness does have a release so my son can sit forward and see everything.  The problem with the harness is that I have it all the way extended and it barely fits my son when he is wearing his wearing coat.  Also it is very difficult to close.  You must do it with both hands.  Sometimes when someone is waiting for your parking spot you get so nervous you can't even close it.  How AWKWARD!!!!  Anyway I paid a lot of money for this stroller and I can't even return it.  my husband is at the point where I can't bring home another stroller for him to put together.  He has had it.  I can't wait until my son is old enough where I don't need strollers anymore.
