Not great for the price

3

I've had this ARia for three years now, and its been through 2 kids.  I'm torn, because it has some good qualities compared to other strollers, but I'm hard pressed to recommend it.  all in all, it depends what your priorities are in a stroller, becuase you won't get everything you want at this price point. The good things: - very lightweight and easy to fold up and open up.  This was my number one priority in a stroller and it lived up to its reputation. I've been pleased with this functionality; it is much better than the comparable and/or cheaper brands that my sisters have. - maneuvers very easily with one hand.  Again, this was very important to me. The bad things: - the quality stinks.  within a few months, both cupholders broke off. - the thing was made in China. I was expecting made in Italy, as that is what I understood from the website I ordered from.  I definitely got China quality. - the harness is difficult to use and it doesn't stay attached to the seat.  In other words, it attaches to teh child, but then comes undone from the stroller.  I have had my child actually fall halfway out of the stroller, still buckled in the harness.  stupid.

Peg Perego Aria is the Best stroller in its class!

5

We have been using the Peg PErego OH Aria, 2009 model for about 6 months now. OH= One handed fold, which is soooo convenient! the best thing about this stroller is that it truly is a one handed fold, i can carry my daughter in one arm and literally fold pick up, and store with the other hand! The stroller is also the LIGHTEST stroller i have used, its about 8 pounds, but is NOT an umbrella stroller! the basket underneath is as large as any full sized stroller. the fold is so very compact! it takes up very minimal space in a trunk or, oftentimes, i have put it in the front seat or on the floor of the back seat and it fits with ease. there is a snack trat for the baby, which is great to stick toys onto...the recline is almost a full recline, the seat is SUPER plush and very comfortable for the child, and the entire seat area comes off so you can toss into the laundry! some people have complained about the buckle harness, which can sort of detach from the seat but still hangs on your child, i love it because iknow, if i did not use the 5 point harness, my monkey can wiggle her way out of the 3 point harness. with the detachable aspect of the 5pt harness, she can be secure but still move her body left, right, or upfront to see what catches her interest. the hood on this stroller is also AWESOME!!! it fully covers the child! the drawbacks are that there is no parent tray, but i fixed that by purchasing something online. also, the plastic seems very flimsy...but it has held up perfectly in all types of weathers.

Stroller addicts favorite!

5

I have tried so many different strollers while in search of the perfect one. Jogging strollers, compact strollers, travel systems, etc. This stroller is amazing! I'm so relieved that I finally found what I was looking for. First of all, it folds up extremely easy with one hand so you can actually hold baby while folding it an putting it in the car. When folded it is pretty flat compared to other strollers I've had. It reclines fully so that it can be used for newborns or older babies that need a nap. The storage underneath is easy to access and holds plenty. My favorite feature is the 5 point harness that disconnects from the top part of the seat so that babies can still sit forward to look around but not be able to climb out. My kids both loved to sit forward so would throw a fit if the harness was holding them back. This is just one of those unique features that makes things so much easier. I love this stroller and definitely say that it is worth the extra cost. It will last through many kids and afterward you can sell it to someone else for a good price. Buy it!

Not what I expected from a higher-end stroller

3

The thing I loved most about this stroller in the store was that I could both open it and collapse it with one hand while seven months pregnant! However, after owning it for a couple of years, I can say that that is not always the case. The stroller frequently sticks when you are trying to open or collapse, and the only way I've found to un-stick it is to shake it and shake it. The canopy doesn't extend as far as I would like, and one of the cupholders randomly popped out and won't go back in securely. The 5-point harness is great from about 6 months through 15 months or so, but one Baby wants to be able to move around a little bit, the three-point belt allows a little too much movement (meaning they can climb right out of it!) While the lightweight nature of the stroller is still outstanding, all in all, it just isn't the quality that I was hoping for after paying so much for this item.

great stroller with only minor flaws

If you are looking for a lightweight verstile stroller, then this is just the stroller for you! This stroller runs smoothly no matter what the destination. It is so easy to open with one hand and can easily be stored moved or dragged anywhere due to its very lightweight design. I recently even got rid of my small umbrella stroller because it didn't offer as much as this stroller and was the same weight (therefore no need to have it as well). I agree with previous posters that the cupholders are not so hot. We have indeed had drinks spill because the cupholders are just not build to support them. I have never had a problem with the backstraps staying latched but then again I rarely have used them - only when my children were very little and needed the support to stay in one place. This stroller is both great for my youngest (10 months old) and my oldest (2 1/2). The price may be a little more then others but will surely get your money back and then some. I would highly highly reccomend this stroller to anyone looking for a great versatile light stroller. You won't regret it!

great stroller

This is a great stroller with moderate price. We used to have a graco stroller passed down from a family freind to us. It is really heavy and not convenient. Therefore we were looking for a stoller that has lighter weight but still keep full function, especially that the seat should be able to be reclined to 170 degree. I hate to use umberella stroller for young infant babies. Babies are put into such an akward postition. Some luxuray strollers do meet this requirments, but they are way too expensive. This product is the only one that have lighter weight as well as full function and a good price. The seat can be converted to be close to 170 degress so that baby can have a nice nap inside this stroller. While babies are having good sleeping inside the stroller, we can have more free time shopping in the mall. Therefore I truly love this aspect of the stroller. I would recommend this product to all of our freinds.

Perfect stroller for travel or everyday!

This stroller is one of the best baby products I have ever purchased. It opens easily with one hand, is amazingly lightweight and pushes and turns very smoothly. The basket under the seat is quite large for a stroller of this size and I love that it reclines fully as many others of this size and weight do not. We have taken this on vacation to Disney World more times than I care to count and it is perfect for us. It is small enough that it does not get in the way but has many of the features a larger stroller does. The only thing keeping me from giving this stroller a perfect five star rating are the cupholder design and the shoulder straps. When the driver puts a drink of any substance in the cupholder it doesn't stay straight up. Basically a waste on this model. The shoulder straps on the seat back do not stay attached - they simply hook into a loop and it often comes out when your child gets in and out of the stroller. Other than that I couldn't recommend this stroller more! Worth every penny and then some!

Very lightweight stroller that can be opened with one hand.

This stroller is very lightweight.  I can open it with one hand, and it is easy to take in and out of my hatchback. I love the colors.  I'm now on my 2nd child with this same stroller.  I think the storage underneath is plentiful for strollers, in general.  I like how this stroller reclines, so my baby can lie down, or my 3 year old can sit upright.  I have a couple complaints.  The cup holder for the person pushing does not stay upright.  When I put a water bottle in it, it collapses (not enough for the bottle to fall out, just to be a bother).  My other complaint is that the strap on the back of the seat does not stay in place, and that is basically the only thing holding the child from sliding down through the foot hole.  I think if that hook was a clasp, so it couldn't fall out, it would be much better.  I do like the fact that I can set my infant seat in this and it fits snugly, even though it's a different brand..
