Peery Hotel - Salt Lake City, UT Reviews

For a hotel built in 1910 it was amazingly comfortable. Architecturally, it is wonderful. Old world woodwork, style, and design. We stayed in a suite, and very much enjoyed the extra space. The room and amenities have been recently updated and everything was spotless. The bathroom was cramped but very useable. The air conditioner worked well but was noisy, as is often the case with older originally un-air conditioned rooms. The Peery is a beautifully maintained boutique hotel that is reminiscent of the 30's and 40's. The bed is luxuriant and very comfortable. The room is small compared to many hotel chains, but arranged in a way that overcomes a crowded feeling. The doorman was wonderful (he was also the valet) and offered many suggestions for sight-seeing within walking distance of the hotel, which is located very near the Temple and Temple Square. The Peery Hotel was a fine combination of beautiful early American decore and modern comfort. The room was filled with all of the conveniences that I needed, very clean, with the comfortable feeling of home. I found the convenient location of the hotel to shopping and dining a big plus.
