The Peery is a beautifully maintained boutique hotel that is reminiscent of the 30's and 40's. The bed is luxuriant and very comfortable. The room is small compared to many hotel chains, but arranged in a way that overcomes a crowded feeling. The doorman was wonderful (he was also the valet) and offered many suggestions for sight-seeing within walking distance of the hotel, which is located very near the Temple and Temple Square. There are several good restaurants nearby and a microbrewery across the street. On the cleanliness side, the bathroom had some peeling wallpaper above the tub tile, and some mildew in the tile. Also, there is major road construction going on just outside the entrance and it made it difficult to approach the area.

Dining: Short Walk, nearby P.F. Chang.
