I've tried different dog foods for small dogs, so many I've lost count. This one is simply the best, my little dog loves it so much. It's a lot cheaper than some other brands as well and the bag will last me about a month for my one small dog, so it's very cost effective. I've stuck with this brand now...

Despite frequent exercise, lots of water, and even adding to his diet, my Samoyed developed severe, intractable constipation with this food - which changed the minute that we changed him to another dog food. It worked well enough for our other dog, but the constipation was horrible, and as long as I... review »

Unless dog food is FDA certified for human consumption and only contains specific ingredients, I will not use it. In fact, there is only one brand I will feed my dog.

Products like this are filled will carcinogens and indigestible filler that has been proven to shorten your dogs life. Most dogs should live two times what they do. These chemicals are preservatives. This type of cheap food is mass produced and stored in hot semi trucks for over a year and then shipped to pet stores where it is again stored. The shelf life of these little rocks are years.

The ingredient list is very tricky to read...

Pedigree is the only dog food that my bishon will eat.  It is so funny watching him.  He gets a big mouthful, then goes over in front of the tv, spits it out, and then eats it, one piece at a time.  Then when he starts to get full, he will pick up a piece, toss it in the air, then run after it.

His coat is always shiny, and soft.  I tried him on Science diet once and he wouldn't eat it.  So back to Pedigree we went.

Luckily, I have been feeding Pedigree brand foods for some time, now. I say luckily due to all the pet food recalls, Pedigree was not ever among them. My pets all love it, I have five total that are finiky eaters. Believe me, they wouldn't eat it if they didn't like it. I'm just not one of those people that says when they get hungry enough they will. Around here, lol, if they don't like it,then out it goes.

Pedigree makes an excellent product.  They do a fantastic job at keeping the prices down.

I began feeding Pedigree as I started to accumulate more dogs, through rescues.  I loved the food I had been feeding, but with more dogs being added to the pack, I had to find a way to cut costs; and Pedigree fit the bill there.

Pedigree is not the most exensive dog food, but they are not the cheapest either.  I cannot honestly say that it is the BEST or the WORST dog food, as that label depends on the individual dog owner.  It all depends on your own likes, dislikes, what you are trying to accomplish...

This food is quite poor and I blame the ads for misleading the public. If you ran out of dog food, woudl you give your dog a can of corn or some chicken or something? Ofcourse you wouldnt open a can of corn! So why are you feeding corn in a dried form? Check out the ingredients.....the bag is mostly corn, fillers, some have dyes, animal byproducts, animal digest (which you dont want to KNOW what that is...look it up on wikipedia), euthanizaed animals, roadkill, (dont believe me go check! it is allowed!). Ethoxyquin is a known carcinocen, and was made as a rubber stabilizer, but its in lots... review »

I have had several dogs in my life, 14 at the present moment, and even though I have tried other dog foods, I always came back to Pedigree Small and Crunchy Bites. I don't buy any other brand now. My dogs love its taste and size. If you love your dog, whether it is a pure pedigree or just a mix, they'll love you even more if you feed them Pedigree Small and Crunchy Bites. They will also love the taste and the shapes, you will love the price and the fact that it comes in varying sizes. I buy 52 lb bags and find that to be the most economical size for me. My dogs have more energy, great looking...

I have had many dogs in my lifetime. But for the last 13 years they eat no other dog food except Pedigree small and crunchy hard food. I buy it in the largest bag I can find, two bags at a time. We currently have to cocker spaniels and they LOVE this food. The price is right, the dogs love it and I believe they are healthier partly  because of this food.

When we first got our first cocker spaniel puppy in 1994, our Vet recommened this product. And I believe he is correct in doing so.

Our dogs get treats once or twice a day, but they are very healthy. They eat no "people" food. I do buy pedigree...

I fed my dog Pedigree for a few years. Then I noticed he was eating the feces of other dogs. He was not allowed to lick me for the longest time!

When I took him to the vet I was educated about dog food. Pedigree, and many other fairly inexpensive dog foods, contains mostly corn, wheat and other non- meats. My dog was not getting the proper nutrients from Pedigree.

Now I look at the ingredients of all dog food. If it doesnt have chicken or beef- or some other animal as its first and main ingredient- I dont feed it to him. Now my dog gets his nutrition from his food and doesnt try to get it by eating...

Pedigree Small Bites is great for smaller size dogs, it is small and easy for them to chew. Of course it helps for your dog to like it also. And mine does. It has different shapes in there also, and some shapes he likes more than others. So what ever your dog likes he will let you know by picking out the ones he likes best first. It is made from quality ingredients so know that it is made from Love. I know someone who works for Pedigree and he has told me stories of the care and choice of the things that are put into the food. And know that it is even tested by humans for taste. But you decide...

I assist rescue groups who pull dogs and cats from high kill, gas chamber animal shelters in Central Georgia, I use Pedigree Dog Food exclusively. Pedigree is a good quality dog food and doesn't contain milk or soy products (which, in my experience, can upset a dog's stomach, and when your caring for and cleaning up after 40 dogs, you need all the help you can get when it comes to cleaning up). I find that dogs, fed Pedigree, will always maintain the proper weight, and dogs that are under weight will gain weight nicely. It's a great, affordable dog food, and I love that you can get in in 52#... review »

Pedigree (small bites) is the stuff, man.  I have tried every single solitary dog food on the market, and my expert dog food critics prefer the yellow bag EVERY time! I have been a mid-size dog adopter for many years now, and we currently have three little fur coats on legs who feel like they won the doggy lottery.  They run the house and get anything they want.  This is what they want.  Now if it's meat table scraps, ok.. the scraps win.. but in every other contest.. it's no contest!  :)

I have tried numerous types of dog food ranging from the cheapest to the most expensive. My female red heeler is one that loves to eat, but won't take the time to fully chew any of the foods that I have tried. This caused her to have unbearable gas and seemed not to want to eat what was served to her. With the Pedigree Small and Crunchy Bites, she actually takes the time to chew each piece. The gas problem was resolved and she loves dinner time. I am very satisfied with the food and have reccommended to my family members for their pets.

My chihuahua's will only eat small bites, I have tried Science Diet but they did not eat it unless I added people food and then they would get terrible gas.   :(   With Pedigree they get the right amount of nutrition and love the taste, so I don't have to add people food. Which is especially important with Corona and Lime, because it is very unhealthy for chihuahuas to become overweight.
