Most HelpfulMy dog, Rebel, is a finicky eater since we spoiled him by mixing his dry dog food with table scraps. Realizing that we made a huge mistake by starting him off this way, we have been slowly trying to wean him off of table scraps. We have purchased many different brands of canned dog food but, he...

Most HelpfulMy own dog is a little min pin who is very much to busy to sit and eat but he does with this food. My other little girl is a toothless 2.3 pd long haired chihuahua who was very abused by the breeder causing all kinds of problems. This little tiny thing was slowly starving to death until I got her and started grinding purina little bites in the blender until it was a meal. Even so she still had lots of problems. Now she also gets the pedigree little champions and is actually gaining a little weight. I am so very pleased.
Occasionally, I get a little dog to foster . I am a foster parent...
review »My pup Daisy loves the Little Champions Pouched Puppy Food in the chicken variety. I love being able to spoil her with wet food, but the "mushy" stuff grosses me out. The Little Champions pouches make it easy to feed her wet food on a daily basis.
Dasiy loves to have half of a pouch of Little Champions puppy food mixed in with her dry food at every meal. I haven't heard her complain about it yet!
From a cost stand point, I think its a great value, because I can get away with giving Daisy half a pouch at a time (just enough of a treat), and only use one pouch - or about $0.58 a day.
We own 3 mini schnauzers, Maggie, Jake and Samantha. They, too, have been spoiled by people food and in an effort to transistion them to a higher percentage of dog food we stumbled upon these pouches by Pedigree. Each of them are picky eaters and have extremely strong personalities, especially Maggie (the oldest of the three). We love the price point of this product (about $5.50 for a 12 pack) and the fact that you can get an assortment of flavors in the same box (i.e. Turkey, Beef, Chicken, etc. in one package). The pouches make it easy to store and prepare.
My dogs love Little Champions by Pedigree. We use both the Pedigree dry & LC daily. All the dog food recalls, Pedigree products were never effected. All 3 of my dogs are rescues, 1 of the girls was very overweight when she came to live with me. The consistency of the Pedigree products, helped her to slim down & majority improved her coat. All my dogs do very well with LC. It' more important to me to spend a little extra on the front end, so my dogs stay healthy. That certainly keeps my vet bills down. Which is always a good thing! woof!!
My dog Stewart is spoiled on an only pedigree can food diet. Since we live in Manhattan, eating on the go for Stewart has previously been an issue. I would always have to carry a can with me to the park or shopping. Pedigree pouches, are the perfect quantity size for smaller dogs, is easy to open, and slides right out with ne mess. I even tear the package along the sides and let stewart eat right out of the wrapper! Great for busy lifestyles! Although, it may be a little pricer than cans, it convience of the product is wel worth the extra cents!
