Pedigree Little Champions; Pouched Dog Food Review Summary

Is your dog a picky eater? People who love to spoil their dog report that their finicky dogs may refuse to eat other brands, but always eat Pedigree Little Champions Pouched Dog Food. What do they like? Perhaps because Pedigree Little Champions is made with real chicken and beef, or maybe it’s the more exotic ingredients like garlic powder, onion powder or bay leaves. Dog lovers loved how the food slides easily out of the pouch into the dog bowl with little effort. Pedigree Little Champions Pouched Dog Food is a little pricier than some of the other brands out there, but our reviewers say that it’s worth it. “We don’t mind if the food is expensive because we feel like if we can eat what we like, he should be able to too.” Want to keep looking? My dog, Rebel, is a finicky eater since we spoiled him by mixing his dry dog food with table scraps.  Realizing that we made a huge mistake by starting him off this way, we have been slowly trying to wean him off of table scraps.  We have purchased many different brands of canned dog food but, he wouldn't eat the mixture.  I was just about to give up until I found Pedigree Little Champions Pouched Dog Food.  The Product — This Pedigree dog food comes in a 12 pouch variety pack for $5.97.  There are several variety packs to… read full review »

My own dog is a little min pin who is very much to busy to sit and eat but he does with this food.  My other little girl is a toothless  2.3 pd long haired chihuahua who was very abused by the breeder causing all kinds of problems.  This little tiny thing was slowly starving to death until I got her and started grinding purina little bites in the blender until it was a meal. Even so she still had lots of problems.  Now she also gets the pedigree little champions and is actually gaining a little weight.  I am so very pleased. —  Occasionally, I get a little… read full review »

My dog loves this food.  He gets very excited when he sees one of the pouches.  He runs to his bowl and wags his tail.  When I try to put the food in the bowl he tries to eat it right from the package!  He would eat this all day long if I let him.  The only draw backs are that he needs more than one per feeding and they come in packs of twelve.  It can be pretty expensive to feed this to him all the time.  My dog eats twice a day.  I have to feed him these once and then give him dry food once.  I try to use coupons when I buy it or go where ever… read full review »

My dog really loves it.  He barks for it and will not share.  Do not get within one feet when he is feeding.  This is his favorite food to eat.  We have other animals but this one is like family.  He lives in the house with us and eats very well.  We don't mind if the food is expensive because we feel like if we can eat what we like, he should be able to too.  We tried other brands and we use other brands for our other dogs, which happens to be about 15, but we use this brand for our house dog because he is family.  The reason we like it so much is… read full review »

We own 3 mini schnauzers, Maggie, Jake and Samantha.  They, too, have been spoiled by people food and in an effort to transistion them to a higher percentage of dog food we stumbled upon these pouches by Pedigree.  Each of them are picky eaters and have extremely strong personalities, especially Maggie (the oldest of the three).  We love the price point of this product (about $5.50 for a 12 pack) and the fact that you can get an assortment of flavors in the same box (i.e. Turkey, Beef, Chicken, etc. in one package).  The pouches make it easy to store and prepare.… read full review »

My pup Daisy loves the Little Champions Pouched Puppy Food in the chicken variety. I love being able to spoil her with wet food, but the "mushy" stuff grosses me out. The Little Champions pouches make it easy to feed her wet food on a daily basis. — Dasiy loves to have half of a pouch of Little Champions puppy food mixed in with her dry food at every meal. I haven't heard her complain about it yet! — From a cost stand point, I think its a great value, because I can get away with giving Daisy half a pouch at a time (just enough of a treat), and only use one pouch - or about $0.58… read full review »

My dogs love Little Champions by Pedigree.  We use both the Pedigree dry & LC daily.  All the dog food recalls, Pedigree products were never effected.  All 3 of my dogs are rescues, 1 of the girls was very overweight when she came to live with me. The consistency of the Pedigree products, helped her to slim down & majority improved her coat.  All my dogs do very well with LC. It' more important to me to spend a little extra on the front end, so my dogs stay healthy.  That certainly keeps my vet bills down.  Which is always a good thing!  woof!! —… read full review »

My dog Stewart is spoiled on an only pedigree can food diet. Since we live in Manhattan, eating on the go for Stewart has previously been an issue. I would always have to carry a can with me to the park or shopping. Pedigree pouches, are the perfect quantity size for smaller dogs, is easy to open, and slides right out with ne mess. I even tear the package along the sides and let stewart eat right out of the wrapper! Great for busy lifestyles! Although, it may be a little pricer than cans, it convience of the product is wel worth the extra cents! —… read full review »

I love this dog food.  I tried so many dog foods for my german shepherd pup and she didn't want to eat any of them.  She is so picky.  I must have spent $30 on different dog foods she wouldn't eat.  I finally tried this dog food because they sold them in a pack and I had a coupon for a free one.  As soon as I gave it to my dog she ate it up.  She's been eating it ever since.  I do mix it in with dry food otherwise she will have really soft… read full review »

GOOD STUFF..at least our dog thinks so. She gobbles it up and looks for more. She hears it when I start to open the package and comes running. The amount in each pouch is just right for her. The texture, taste and variety is also great. At least that my opinion and who am I ??...only the human companion to a really great 15 year old dog. She deserves the best. She has given me her best for 15 plus years and alot more years to come we… read full review »

Awhile back when dog foods were being re-called because of contamination, this one remained on the shelf....which indicated to me that it was a product that is monitored well.  I almost lost one of my dogs to cheep dog food, it ended up costing me lots of vet. fees, so now I only use this brand.  My dogs love it and I like the variety of flavors, the ease in storage and feeding.  I'm glad I know it is a quality… read full review »

When I was looking for wet food to buy for my mixed breed dog, I knew that I couldn't go wrong with Pedigree.  I have fed her dry food for quite a while and it was time to change it up a bit.  As long as you are okay with squeezing the packaging to break up the food, it is a wonderful product.  Storm, my dog, would give it 2 paws… read full review »

My dog doesnt particularly like dry dog food plain, so when I feed her, I make sure to throw in some Pedigree Little Champions; Pouched Dog Food into her food. She loves all the different flavors, and I like that I am feeding her something nutritious as well as tasty! I also like that the food looks like real food, and not something gross.… read full review »

I love the pedigree products.  My dogs always have a good healthy looking coat.  I have never had a problem with them not liking it.  It is very easy to get out of the pouch, and just the right amount for a special treat.  I will continue to use this product, and recommend it to all my… read full review »
