GREAT for infants.

I had the worst luck with my two year old daughter. As a baby, she was the one who was constantly sick. It made it very rough on me, because at such a young age there isn't much you can do for them when they have a fever. It wasn't until she was about 4-5 months old that I discovered this "Pediacare infant fever reducer and pain reliever drops" I believe the age is for 0 months to 36 months old. So it is gentle enough for newborn babies. That is what really put my mind at ease, if moms use it on newborns, my baby can definitely handle it. It came with it's own sterile syringe and measuring cup. Very distinct directions and even a number to a hot line if I wanted more information about the product. My daughter had a cold and was carrying a high fever when we used this on her. Within an hour she was not near as fussy, and her fever was just about gone! This was all I would use on her as a baby and to this day, I still keep it on hand. I definitely recommend this to all the moms out there. It works well and it is a very mild and gentle medication for all ages.

Each time my daughter got her immunizations, she got a fever of 101 degrees F. I gave her a dosage of PediaCare as recommended by the pediatrician. The fever went down within 20 minutes, and she would sleep. She seemed very relieved, and it calmed me down enough not to run to the doctor's office. I also used it when she had a cold. Very highly recommended.

PediaCare Infant Fever Reducer drops work, but...

3

I sent my husband to the store to get infant fever reducer drops and he came home with these PediaCare Infant Fever Reducer Pain Reliever Drops. I've never used this brand before, but I liked the fact that they are dye-free. I try to live as natural as possible, so I was impressed with my husband's selection. Turns out the drops work great, but the dye-free aspect did not. **PediaCare Infant Fever Reducer Pain Reliever Drops **contain acetaminophen to help reduce fever and relieve minor aches and pains. The drops I have are cherry flavored but happen to be dye-free, so the liquid is clear instead of the bright red I'm used to. I've given these drops to my baby several times, and each time, I'm irritated that I can't see where the medicine is on the dropper's dosage lines. Babies need an exact amount of medicine, and that's very hard to do when you can't see where the medicine is lined up. I love the fact that there's no dye in these drops, but if you can't give precise measurements of medicine to a baby, what good are they? I hate to think that I would rather use a product with dye in it, than a dye-free product, but I would rather feel safe knowing I'm giving my baby the proper amount of medicine. I wouldn't recommend **PediaCare Infant Fever Reducer Pain Reliever Drops**, but if you can see the clear liquid better than I can, go for it.

Decent Infant Medication

Among Tylenol, Motrin and Advil I have also tried this brand of medication for my 7 month old who is teething and ran a small fever with it.  It seems to be just as affective and no different then the other name brands I perviously mentioned. It did just fine relieving his fever and also seemed to eliminate his runny nose that was also a side effect of his teething. The cherry flavor didn't seem to bother him and he readily took it. My biggest complaint or issue would be that the dropper is part of the cap and it does not seem to suck up the medication as alternative means of droppers for medication so I would suggest using another medicine dropper if you have one.  The bottle didn't seem to last long but most infants bottles do not and the price is on the higher side like most other infants pain relievers. I did find mine on sale and also had a coupon making the price more justifiable and that is probably why else I tried it. I think I will try their other lines of medications that are more cold specific for my older child as well.
