Pedi Paws Pet Nail Trimmer —

My Doberman thought this was a cool new toy, until I turned it on. She backed away and barked her head off until I turned it off. LOL I was disappointed by how noisy it is.

We have a friend whose dog is really mellow, and he'll just sort of of lie there and let her trim his nails. He's a rare dog, in my opinion. Ever other dog owner I've talked to about Pedi-Paws has simply declared it a "rip off"

Needless to say, my Libby is not coming anywhere near this biting "toy" and it's going nowhere near her feet.

To sum it up; Pedi-paws is a good idea with poor execution. I really wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

I totally agree! My pom never got used to it. Looks to me like it would hurt. The noise is way too much for my baby!

I'm really glad the review has been useful to you. Lib's not a rescue, but all my other dogs have been. I'm very certain not a single one would have felt very blessed by Pedi-paws. No point in scaring the daylights out of the little guys if it's a product isn't what it's cracked up to be to begin with. I'm on board with you there.

I am so glad to have this information. Nail time at the groomer's has been problematic. Nail time at home remains unthinkable since our rescued dogs have "nervous" issues. And so it will remain. This product sounds like it would be a nightmare for high-strung rescued dogs. Thanks!

I don't think we ever need to feel gullible for buying these things they hype up on TV. I mean, if you think about it, Pedi Paws IS a good concept. I think the company just may have put the cart before the horse, though. Perfect the darn thing, THEN market it, for Pete's sake. LOL

Bought after seeing it on tv. Worked well with my dog, the kitten it was awful he was reason for getting the pedi in the 1st place. (declawed now so no real need for the damn thing) Worst part is that after maybe 8 uses between Sept & Dec the motor is dead!! Sending it back I want my money back, felling stupid for falling for it!

Thanks for reviewing this item. I see the commercials all the time and I wonder how that little white dog just sits there letting someone saw his nails off.

I had considered buying it for my brother and his wife because they have 10 dogs but those dogs would wake up the neighbors if it was that noisy.

My brother's dogs say, "woof, woof." In doggie language: "Thanks for not letting Auntie bring this to our house!" ~Gigi
