review »Pearl Jam album Ten "The first time I listened to this I couldnt get over the energy in the music, in the lyrics and even the passion I could feel in Vedder's voice. I always like it when artists address real issues that plague current times. This is very much protrayed in Jeremy. A kid who shot himself in class. Teen shootings and suicide was starting to get attention and while people went o my god that kid must have been crazy what a loser, the song seems to go more in depth about what this kid was like at home as well as in school. review »Pearl Jam's Ten is one of the greatest albums of my generation. Eddie and the gang got it right on their first try together. Eddie tells the story of his life with his lyrics and Jeff & Stone back him up powerful guitar and bass. If you are a fan of 90s "grunge", this is the best of the Seattle groups (which is saying a lot, considering Nirvana and Alice in Chains are the competition).
This album is one of the Top 5 albums ever made along with Pink Floyds Dark Side of the Moon and Dave Matthews Band's Before These Crowded Streets.
Their is nothing wrong wth this album from start to end. For anyone who is a non Pearl Jam fan and gets this album and does not like or enjoy 3/4th of the album then they do not like or enjoy music at all.
